🌐 The new SICIM innovation hub: driving the future of research and development We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just completed our new 2700 sq.m research and development hub in our Busseto headquarters. This is where we plan, create, and test new industrial welding technologies. The new hub will house the offices of our engineers and technical staff, the equipment overhaul workshop, warehouses, and spaces dedicated to pipe welding with an emphasis on automatic welding. This latter technology is behind the certified welding systems we develop in-house in compliance with ISO 3834-2 since 2008. It will be the perfect place to foster innovation and know-how. In this dynamic space, orbital welding systems will evolve, and groundbreaking equipment and technical solutions will come to life with increasingly sophisticated functions, empowering our clients and us to tackle the challenges of complex construction projects anywhere in the world. Our new R&D hub is a testament to our dedication to excellence and sets a new standard for innovation in our field. Works in Progress in Our Construction Sites in Italy - 🇮🇹 In 2022, we started works on the Ravenna-Fano section: our dedication and teamwork keep driving the progress of this project of strategic significance for the country’s infrastructural development. In particular, in the San Giovanni in Marignano construction site we have already achieved important results in partnership with Manna SPA:   🔧 The Work Done So Far ✅ 102 km of 26” gas pipeline commissioned ✅ 19 km of minor pipeline interconnections commissioned ✅ 1,000,000+ hours worked ✅ 10,000+ joints welded ✅ 130+ drillings, over 4 km in total ✅ 29 HDD completed, for a total length of 16 km ✅ 5 microtunnels, totalling 3 km ✅ 10,500 hours of HSE training ✅ +75% new hires   📌 See you soon for new updates on our projects! #sicim #project #ravenna #pipeline #sicimproject

SICIM Quality Day: Quality, Our #1 Commitment Quality isn’t merely a goal for SICIM, but a value that drives our work every single day. In this spirit, SICIM Saudi Arabia celebrated World Quality Day, involving members of the local teams and projects alongside the Italian team. The event was aimed at stressing the strategic value of quality, both within the organization and in the relationship with our client Saudi Aramco, which spurs us to reach increasingly ambitious targets. “From Compliance to Performance”, this year’s theme, gave us an opportunity to reflect on our commitment and on our progress so far. The day opened with a keynote speech by the Country Manager who, acknowledging quality as a cornerstone of the company, proudly reminded the audience about the recognition gained by Saudi Aramco in this area through the hard work and dedication of our people. Subsequently, the Country Quality Manager presented the results achieved, illustrating the challenges ahead of us: in a context where the client keeps raising quality standards, SICIM has already taken action to comply with the new requirements, with one firm intention: establishing itself as a benchmark for excellence in the local landscape.
