In the case of Piura, the bean is mostly “White Cacao Bean”, a very rich and special variety. The International Chocolate Awards is pleased to announce the Winners of the 2024 Peruvian Cacao Country Support Competition, the 9no Concurso Nacional de Chocolate Peruano, which was judged remotely in Peru and also by an international pool of judges and Grand Jury. This year's winners in Peru will go directly to the 2024 World Final, an honour that has truly been earned by the passion, spirit and commitment of Peruvian producers.
