    We are proud to be honored as the Alliance for Water Efficiency's 2024 Business & Industry Member of the Year! The AWE plays a key role in advocating for and educating about sustainability, and their expertise helps us create products and initiatives that support responsible water use around the world. We are committed to finding innovative ways to bring sustainable solutions to life, from water-saving product design to our work with communities like Lowndes County in Alabama that deal with sanitation issues every day.     Today we announced Q1 earnings results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. LIXIL CEO Kinya Seto commented, "In the first quarter of FYE2025, our Japan business successfully captured the robust demand in the renovation market, offsetting weak new housing starts and delivering core earnings in line with our expectations. With indicators such as a rise in Japan showroom visitors, we anticipate a recovery in demand towards the second half of the year. In our international business, we saw a recovery in sales in Europe, a critical pillar for profit generation. However, demand remains sluggish in the U.S. Profit for the quarter decreased year-on-year due to an increase in other expenses including costs associated with structural reforms and tax expenses. Internationally, we are driving performance improvements through continued structural reforms and strengthening our supply and organizational systems in preparation for the recovery of demand in markets such as the U.S. Amidst an uncertain business environment, we are executing the initiatives outlined in the LIXIL Playbook. We are committed to driving innovation that delivers a positive societal and environmental impact, and remain focused on strengthening the business foundation for continued growth."     Last week, LIXIL once again partnered with Tools & Tiaras Inc. for their 2024 summer camp in Jamaica, Queens. The team from Hydrific, part of LIXIL led this year’s workshop with a focus on design and water conservation. Julia Deister (née Auer), Uma Dhamija and Emilie Williams, IDSA used their experience and creativity to teach the campers how to tackle important problems around water scarcity, from identifying key issues to building prototypes for their innovative solutions. This marks the 6th year of the partnership between LIXIL and Tools & Tiaras. We're proud to support them in their mission to foster more diversity & inclusion in the trades and introduce the next generation to a variety of potential career opportunities. Our partnership with Tools & Tiaras is also a key part of American Standard’s Trade Up program, an effort dedicated to raising awareness of the skills gap and taking action to inspire more people to pursue plumbing as a viable career path. It is always a pleasure to work with Judaline Cassidy, Jen Jones and the whole team at Tools & Tiaras. We’re so appreciative of our continued partnership and we look forward to next year’s camp!

    LIXIL power brands, American Standard APAC and GROHE, honored outstanding achievements across the property industry at the Asia Pacific International Property & Hotel Awards 2024-25. The prestigious event welcomed over 500 guests, industry luminaries, and nearly 1000 entries to celebrate excellence across architecture, interior design, real estate, and property development. The event recognized over 400 winning companies from across the Asia Pacific. It culminated in a gala event with the announcement and presentation of the American Standard Innovation Award, the GROHE Sustainability Award and the new GROHE Luxury Award. This year’s edition unveiled the Asia Pacific Hotel Awards category to recognize excellence in the hospitality sector. Judged by a panel of 50 industry experts and peers, each entry was meticulously evaluated for design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and dedication to sustainability. The audience enjoyed the American Standard exhibit, featuring selections from the Acacia Collection, Signature Collection, spalet, and auto temperature mixers in exciting color finishes, perfectly complementing modern lifestyles and aspirations.
