MS&AD Group is excited to announce the launch of a new international personnel exchange program, the "Global Personnel Exchange Program", starting in August 2024. 🙌 This time, Europe will serve as the host entity, with specialized personnel in HR, IT, and underwriting being dispatched from Asia and Brazil. On July 17, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, a member of the Group, held a pre-session via web for the first batch of participants. The main content included an "Overview of MS&AD group & Mission, Vision, Values", "Outline of MSI International Business", and "Cross-Cultural Understanding". Participants have provided positive feedback, stating that it was highly beneficial for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the group and the status of the entities they will be visiting. As part of the MS&AD Group, with headquarters in Tokyo, we are not only proud to be able to offer our customers insurance cover around the globe, but also to be in constant exchange of knowledge with experienced colleagues worldwide. We grow from these international relationships - both personally and professionally. It is always a great honor for us as MSIGEU to be represented at events with other colleagues from our sister companies. Just last week, colleagues from all over the world came together again in Tokyo for such an exchange. 🎉 The meeting was all about enhancing collaboration and was attended by all Global TENKAI Promoters. The TENKAI Project, initiated by our parent company MSI, aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise on innovative products, services, tools, methods, and ideas. This exchange takes place interactively between MSI and its global entities, maximizing the overall synergy of the Group. Various strategies to even further strengthen the collaborative work were developed in mixed working groups. 🙌 Once again, it became clear how enriching it is to take on the perspective of other colleagues who approach tasks with their own experiences and backgrounds. A joint dinner after the informative workday held the wonderful opportunity for a personal exchange, which strengthened the new bonds between colleagues even more. 🤗 Many thanks to all the participants for sharing their knowledge and contributing to the further success of each entity. And a huge thank you to our colleagues from MSI, especially the TENKAI Secretary Team, who initiated this project and organized the exciting workshop. The MS&AD Cup, an international women's football friendly match sponsored by the MS&AD Group, was held in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture on July 13, and the Japan National Team defeated the Ghana National Team, a great victory. 🏆 We appreciate everyone's support! ⚽ ⚽ This event was a charity match to support the recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred in January 2024, and the proceeds from the tickets will be allocated to the recovery fund. #msad #msadcup #football #soccer #kanazawa

🏃♂️ Paris 2024 Paralympic Games 🏊♀️ On July 16, the formation ceremony of Japanese Paralympic Team was held, and three Paralympians from MS&AD Group (Misato Michishita: Marathon, Chikako Ono: Swimming, Yutaka Kumagai: Marathon) participated in the ceremony. The IR roadshow season has arrived 🛫 In early June, Tetsuji Higuchi, CFO of MS&AD Holdings, flew to the US as a part of the IR roadshow. During the tour, he met with approximately 10 investors and shareholders in New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, and other cities. Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, a subsidiary of MS&AD holdings, has initiated discussions on the intragroup merger of MS Amlin insurance SE (AISE), and MSIG Insurance Europe AG (MSIGEU), both a Continental European insurance subsidiary based in Belgium and Germany. The new company will become one of the larger insurance companies following the top five in Continental Europe in commercial and industrial market. We aim to further improve our presence, expand our business and strengthen profitability by pursuing synergies through integration, and strive to further improve customer service.
