Phemotron Systems proudly celebrates Joseph Henry, our Engineering Intern, deployed to our Lagos office as part of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. Within a few months, Joseph Henry has significantly contributed to our operations! He is a brilliant, diligent, and trainable professional! Biography: Joseph Henry is a skilled software engineer with web development (back-end), machine learning, and Python expertise. With a solid foundation in software product research and development, he excels in developing AI-integrated robots with web interfaces. His experience spans various roles, including Engineering positions and AI engineering, where he has contributed to optimizing student learning through NLP projects and tackled technical challenges in troubleshooting, system administration, and advanced technology development. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Covenant University, Joseph's technical skills are complemented by a strong theoretical background. Proficient in simulation, programming languages, machine learning, and embedded systems, Joseph is driven by a passion for innovation and teamwork. He is committed to making a positive impact through his work and is recognized for his collaborative mindset and dedication to achieving exceptional results.

In celebration of the international moon day, an annual celebration on the 20th of July every year set aside to celebrate the first lunar landing Myself and other Volunteers of the Moon Village Association all over the country conducted an outreach where we shed more light on the lunar exploration, challenges, the vast potential and the endless possibilities. I must Appreciate Phemotron Systems for sponsoring this event while also recognizing the consistent hard work of my National coordinator Chioma Ezeigbo, my friend and colleague Oluwatosin Kolade my executive council members at Space Club OAU , Daniel Health Ogala and James Awelewa including other MVA Volunteers. INTERNATIONAL MOON DAY 2024🌑 As commemoration of the International Moon Day, I was privileged to lead an educational outreach to Kourklys Secondary School, Calabar, under the auspices of the Moon Village Association. In my presentation, I rightly noted that one of the many benefits of the celebration/outreach was to promote STEM education in young, brilliant minds - inspiring the next generation of innovators and scientists. It brought me so much joy to witness the creative works the students displayed under the tutelage of my co-coordinator Kwaghkaa Hange Benjamin. They had in store for us, poetry recitations, spoken word recitations and hand-crafted artworks, all inspired by the International Moon Day celebration. During our discussion, the students asked very insightful questions, some of which were on; - The possibilities for humanity having access to oxygen on any future human settlements on the moon - The need for medical doctors to go to space - If this celebration/visit to their school will be an annual occurrence(my personal favourite😁) I sincerely thank the Moon Village Association for the opportunity to contribute to the celebrations this year and our dear Sponsor Phemotron Systems for their continued tremendous support to African space education. I also wish to express my gratitude to Chioma Ezeigbo, for her exceptional leadership and support during the planning of this event, my co-coordinator Kwaghkaa Hange Benjamin for his tireless efforts towards curating a quiz session to engage the students as well as responding to questions and anchoring the event by my side, then, my friend and colleague Victory Akpoiroro for her immense support and contribution to the execution of the event. Our CEO Femi Ishola (Ph.D., R.Engr.) in the team of Ken Peterman and Nick Orenstein, has been proudly dubbed "Rocket Diplomats" – a testament to our mission of dissolving geographical boundaries and unsustainable barriers in modern space exploration for peaceful purposes to uplift underserved and underdeveloped regions of the world.
