We had the pleasure of hosting a team from IQVIA at our offices, where we discussed the scaling of clinical research in Africa. Present in the meeting was AHB Executive Chairman Dr Amit N. Thakker, our Head of External Affairs Daniella Munene, and our Head of Consulting, Dr. Mary Moussa Moussa (not pictured). IQVIA team was represented by Head of Middle Africa Naim Hage,, Head of East Africa,Joan Wakori and strategy consultant, Middle Africa, Veselina Kracheva. Underscoring our discussions was the collective imperative to address our continent's public health concerns through the compelling vision of "in Africa, by Africa, for Africa". #theafricawewant

The Africa Health Business team of Dr Amit N. Thakker, Samira Kibacha, Caroline Wangamati and Dr. Mary Moussa had the pleasure of being hosted by Dr Mazyanga Lucy MAZABA the Regional Director - Africa CDC Eastern Africa RCC to explore collaboration opportunities, particularly focusing on resource mobilization and strengthening the National Public Health Institute in the Eastern Africa Region. We look forward to the potential innovative solutions that may emerge from this and future engagements.

Dr. Mary Moussa, Head of Consulting and Dr Daniella Munene, Head of External Affairs at Africa Health Business had the pleasure of making a courtesy call to Prof. Roma Chilengi, the Director General of Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI). They discussed the role of private sector in supporting governments in public health response initiatives.

Dr. Mary Moussa Head of Consulting and Dr Daniella Munene, Head of External Affairs at Africa Health Business had the pleasure of meeting with the Africa CDC Director for the Southern Africa Regional Coordianting Center, Dr Lul Riek. Mary and Daniella expressed AHB's firm commitment to support Africa CDC in harnessing the innovations in private sector to combat M-Pox and other public health threats facing the continent.
