Due to Hurricane Milton's projected path and the resulting indefinite closure of Tampa International Airport, our Tampa flights KX202 and KX203 scheduled for this Thursday October 10, 2024, have been cancelled. Affected customers are being accommodated on other flights and are being contacted directly with details. Customers are therefore reminded to ensure that their ticket reservations are updated with an accurate email address and phone number where they can be reached by the airline with flight updates. We will continue to monitor the situation with this major hurricane, and provide updates if further adjustments to our Florida flight schedules become necessary. At this time, we can confirm that there are currently no changes to our scheduled flights between Grand Cayman and Miami and Tampa for this week. However, we are carefully assessing the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available regarding our ability to operate flights to and from airports in Miami and Tampa after the passage of this storm. The safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. We encourage all travellers to stay informed about the weather conditions at their destination, and to follow our social media platforms and website for any updates over the coming days. Customers with tickets for travel between Grand Cayman and Miami or Tampa over the next few days will be contacted directly if changes to their flights become necessary, so they should ensure that their ticket reservation contains accurate contact details. Our regularly scheduled flights are fully booked, and this extra flight has been added to accommodate anyone wishing to evacuate the Tampa area ahead of the expected arrival of major Hurricane Milton. Flight KX3205 departs Tampa International Airport at 9:00pm and arrives on Grand Cayman at 9:50pm. Please be aware that Tampa International Airport has confirmed it is suspending operations at 9:00am on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, due to the approaching hurricane. Cayman Airways confirms that an evacuation flight has been added for Monday October 7, 2024 to assist the Cayman Islands Government with evacuating Caymanian students who are currently studying in Tampa, Florida, as well as any Cayman residents visiting Tampa who wish to return home before the arrival of Tropical Storm Milton in the Tampa area. The flight details are as follows (including the departure from GCM to TPA): Monday October 7, 2024 Flight KX3204 departs GCM at 5:10pm and arrives at TPA at 8pm Flight KX3205 departs TPA at 9pm and arrives at GCM at 9:50pm Persons wishing to purchase tickets for these extra flights can call Cayman Airways Reservations on 345-949-2311, 1-800-422-9626 (toll free in the USA), contact a travel professional, or book online at www.caymanairways.com.

Due to the projected path of Tropical Storm Milton, a change fee waiver has been issued for customers who wish to voluntarily change their plans to travel between the Cayman Islands and Miami and/or Tampa, Florida. Customers will not have to pay a change fee, or fare difference, if their changes meet the following requirements: • Tickets must have been purchased on/before October 5, 2024 • Travel must have been scheduled for flights departing between October 6-11, 2024 • New travel dates must be rebooked by October 16, 2024 • New travel dates must commence by October 18, 2024 and must be completed by October 31, 2024 or by the original return date • All travel must be rebooked in the original cabin • Same origin and destination will apply, except for Miami and Tampa. Passengers travelling to/from Tampa may change for travel to/from Miami, and vice versa. • All travel must be on Cayman Airways Customers who wish to travel at a later date will have the change fee waived but must pay any applicable fare difference charges. These customers can also apply the full value of the ticket to their travel bank account, provided that: • Tickets were purchased on/before October 5, 2024 • Travel was scheduled between October 06 and October 11 , 2024 At this time, this waiver is only available by calling into the Cayman Airways Call Center at 345-949-2311 or 1-800-422-9626 (toll free in the USA).
