The handover of the refrigerated truck is just one aspect of the CDB Packhouse Project—a full-scale effort to strengthen Saint Lucia’s agricultural exports. Farmers across the island have been trained in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), while packhouse operators have received training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP.
