Our Taxpayer Services Division on Tuesday held an interactive tax engagement session with owners of newly registered businesses. The discussion covered essential topics, including TIN registration, business tax obligations, real property tax payment, and tax clearance certificate procedures. We also shared insights on the withholding tax system, customs procedures, payment channels, and communication platforms. The activity aligns with our commitment to educating taxpayers on their obligations, compliance measures, and the benefits of tax contributions, all in support of national development. #TaxEducation #LRAEngagement #SupportingGrowth #NationalDevelopment James Dorbor Jallah

We have started Phase 2 of our Computer Skills Training Program for LRA staff. This program is part of our commitment to boost computer literacy and develop essential skills across the organization in this digital era. Launched in August, the training is divided into three levels Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced and focuses on MS Word and MS Excel, the two most-used MS Office tools at the LRA. The Learning & Staff Capacity Development Unit, under the Human Resources Management Division, is leading this initiative, training 50 staff members at a time. Certificates will be awarded to those who complete and pass the end-of-course evaluation. Simpson Sieh-Nah Klay, Jr., Manager of the Learning & Staff Capacity Development Unit, describes this training as a valuable investment in human capacity development at the LRA. #CapacityBuilding #LRATraining #EmpoweringStaff #SkillsDevelopment James Dorbor Jallah
