Keeping tunnels safe isn’t just about infrastructure. It’s about people. With over 20 tunnels across 165 km of highways, Luxembourg has one of the highest tunnel densities in the world. Keeping them safe, visible, and operational requires meticulous maintenance and coordination. Today, the next tunnel maintenance and cleaning campaign begins, ensuring safety and visibility for all road users. 🚧 Our teams will be on the ground to ensure that critical traffic management systems remain fully operational. This includes servicing dynamic signage, surveillance cameras, emergency call stations, incident automatic detection systems and traffic sensors—all essential to keeping the network safe and efficient. We’re proud to contribute alongside our partners Global Facilities S.A., Creos Luxembourg, and a+p kieffer omnitec (ap kieffer - apko), as part of the GMC consortium. Working in all weather conditions, we make sure road users receive clear information and real-time alerts to navigate safely. But safety is a shared responsibility. If you’re on the road, here’s a gentle reminder: 🚗 Respect speed limits in work zones 🚗 Follow lane closures and signage 🚗 Keep a safe distance from maintenance vehicles This work isn’t just about compliance—it’s about ensuring safety for everyone, everywhere on the road. 👷🏼♀️👷🏼 Ever seen a tunnel network as dense as Luxembourg’s? Let us know in the comments!

Opportunities should be equal. But today, they’re not. Women represent only 28% of the STEM workforce. Not because of a lack of talent, ambition, or ability, but because access to opportunities is still unequal. For International Women’s Day, we are proud to support "A Rose for Every Woman" by the Rotary Club Luxembourg-Schuman an initiative that recognizes and uplifts women. But beyond recognition, it is essential to take action to advance equality. That’s why we’re committed to: ✅ Opening doors for young girls in tech through Robotics Rookies , because representation starts early ✅ Creating a workplace where women thrive, with real opportunities to grow, lead, and shape the future ✅Investing in mentorship and industry access, so that talent, not gender, determines success This day is an opportunity to highlight progress, but also to keep taking action so that each generation has more opportunities than the one before. We’re curious, what’s one concrete step your company is taking toward gender equality in tech? Let’s share ideas and drive real change together.

What happens when critical communications fail? A defense operation loses satellite connectivity mid-mission. A government response team struggles to coordinate in real time. First responders are left without vital intelligence in a crisis. These aren’t hypotheticals, they’re based on real challenges. At HITEC Luxembourg, we build secure ground stations and crisis satellite communication terminals to keep mission-critical operations running, no matter the circumstances. That’s why we’re proud to be a Gold Sponsor at GovSatCom 2025, where government, defense, and industry leaders will address the future of secure satellite communications. Why does this matter now? • Real-time operations demand reliability. Defense, emergency response, and critical infrastructure rely on secure, uninterrupted connectivity. • Geopolitical tensions are shifting. Sovereign, independent communication networks are now a priority. • Cyber threats are evolving. Attacks on strategic infrastructure are becoming more sophisticated than ever. If you're attending GovSat #GOVSATCOM25 tomorrow, come find us at Stand 9 during networking breaks and say hello 👋 🔗 Full agenda in the comments, which sessions are you the most interested in?

The importance of connectivity for humanitarian workers is crucial, especially in crisis situations. This testimony shows how relevant it was for HITEC Luxembourg S.A. to be part of this critical sector, by providing solutions that directly address the challenges of disaster response. In such environments, where #connectivity is often limited or even non-existent, our NoSaCo terminal is a key component of the communication systems that keep humanitarian teams connected. We are pleased to see the recognition of emergency.lu’s added value, where our product plays an essential role. This further motivates us to continue creating reliable and impactful solutions for these critical missions. #emergency #disasterrelief #satellite #communications #emergencylu #HumanitarianAid #Innovation #GlobalImpact #Luxembourg #missioncritical
Two things I know to be true: Humanitarian work thrives on connectivity and strong partnerships. And one feeds the other. Over the last 5 years, emergency.lu’s generously donated VSAT (small satellite) has been a lifeline for the work of @UNHCR in Guasdualito, Venezuela. The connectivity it provided enabled UNHCR partners and humanitarian workers to carry out their essential, life-saving work for people at risk of displacement. As we’ve now closed the Guasdualito office, we reflect on the incredible impact of this service. Enrique Valles Ramos, our Country Representative for Venezuela, emphasized the significance of this donation, noting how it enabled humanitarians — often working without reliable power or connectivity — to carry out their critical work. But this story doesn’t end here. True to their commitment to connectivity, Emergency.lu supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Cooperation Foreign Trade is ensuring the connectivity provided by this VSAT can continue to be leveraged. The equipment will now be relocated to Colombia, where it will support UNHCR and our partners to serve a new community in critical need of connectivity services. This is what meaningful partnerships look like: creating solutions that adapt, evolve, and continue to serve wherever the need is greatest. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Emergency.lu, working together to keep humanitarian efforts connected. #HumanitariansAtWork #Connectivity
