STATUS REPORT – What’s the next step for your turbine? 🔁 Repowering or Life extension🔋 What's the most efficient way to define future of your turbines? As with any renovation project, it's important to carry out an accurate diagnostic. This will enable you to prioritize the work to be carried out, but above all to determine your needs. We regularly carry out this diagnosis for our customers, who want to obtain a detailed report and a methodology of approach based on our expertise. It serves two purposes: - to define a maintenance plan for the Life Extension - how to optimise the value of your repowering project In practice, how does it work? 1. 🔎 Site visit : Our team, made up of an engineer and a technical specialist, carry out an inventory of the turbine being serviced.. They reference every consumable and part status, every mechanism and look into the history of each machine. 2. 🚦 The report : Based on specific manufacturer requirements and prioritization calculations, we are able to propose a concrete approach to determine the next steps to be taken on your machines. This will constitute a trustworthy database to define the most optimized predictive/preventive maintenance possible. 3. 🏗️ Application: We are here to support you every step of the way until your projects are completed. As a service provider, whether it's replacing main components, installing second-hand turbines, or dismantling and recycling your wind farm, we have the expertise to implement the solutions we offer.

🔎Focus on a project : Maintenance campaign in Scandinavia After 7 months spent criss-crossing Scandinavia, our 4 teams of 25 technicians completed the annual preventive maintenance work on 266 turbines, including Delta3k, Delta 4K and Gamma. Thanks to extensive preparation and coordination of schedules, they were able to operate efficiently and complete the work before the first snowfall ❄️

👨💻 Let's meet Roisne Hadrien, Operations Manager At MDWind, some people have become kind of ‘dinosaurs’ 🦕 Not because they're older or wiser, but because they've grown up with the company. That's the case with Hadrien, our Operations Manager, who turned 12 last June 🎂 Friendly and spontaneous, Hadrien stands out for his determination and technical skills. After completing a Technifutur Wind Turbine Technician training course in 2012, he met our founder and was hired as technician with the 20 other employees. He quickly climbed the ladder (beyond turbine scales), first after working in the on-site teams and then in the back office as head of the QHSE department in 2015. Now, he supervises our PMs and on-site teams, he is a key figure in our operations, ensuring that every project runs smoothly. Hadrien's story - and those of many other employees - is the perfect representation of the values that MDWind wishes to convey within the company🚀

🔎Focus on a project : challenging dismantling in Italy 🏗 Currently on site in Sardinia, our Methodology Study Team has been commissioned to carry out a feasibility study for a challenging dismantling project and a maintenance program for the wind farm. The program included a visit to the damaged turbine, an inspection of the general condition of the park's machinery, a check on maintenance activities and the condition of consumables. The aim of the visit? To study every nook and cranny of the turbine in order to propose a actionnable solution to our customer and minimize the risks of intervention on it in the future. Our team's motto is "The right solution for every problem"

Let's keep it UP 🚀
📈 Historic: #wind and #solar overtook EU fossil electricity generation! Ember's new electricity report highlights a great milestone for #renewables in Europe. For the first time, the EU generated more electricity from wind and solar than from fossil fuels in the first six months of the year. Wind and solar provided 30% of electricity, compared to 27% from fossil fuels. We must keep the momentum and further accelerate the growth of renewables to reach the EU's climate neutrality target. The EU wants wind energy to be more than 50% of all electricity generated by 2050, up from around 20% today. To deliver on its targets, the EU now has to do five things with urgent priority: invest massively in electricity #grids, accelerate #permitting, electrify heavy #industry, ensure a level playing field for Europe’s clean tech #manufacturing, and focus #innovation on scaling up proven renewable technologies. More information on these five priorities for the next five years: https://lnkd.in/ehyxSKAr

🔎Focus on a project : Second life for this MM82 ♻ Today, our team took delivery of the nacelle for the rebuilding of a machine in France, which we had dismantled earlier this year following a fire. This is a typical example of our activities, from feasibility study to complete rehabilitation. Our turnkey project management enables us to control every step of the way, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service. Good job team!
