This week, we had the honor of welcoming the #Botswana Delegation to #Luxembourg, led by Vice-President & Finance Minister Ndaba Gaolathe and Ambassador Mmasekgoa G. Masire-Mwamba. Hosted by our Deputy CEO, Alex Panican, and our Head of Acceleration Programs, Annabelle Albert-Fonteneau, the visit focused on Luxembourg’s #fintech ecosystem and potential collaborations, including the Catapult acceleration programs. Thank you to Turan Daglayan and Tim Davis from Cross Switch Technology Limited, a #LHoFT hosted fintech with activities in Central Africa, for their presentation and valuable insights. Besides the LHoFT, the delegation met with key institutions, including the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Luxembourg Green Exchange to explore opportunities in sustainable finance and digital innovation. Vice-President Gaolathe also met with Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Finance Minister Gilles Roth to discuss economic cooperation. Minister Bettel reaffirmed Luxembourg’s commitment to #African development, while Minister Roth emphasized innovation and sustainability in financial services.
