Each year, Arvato Systems organizes the #MissionRESPONSIBLE campaign to inspire colleagues across various locations to do good deeds and support the society and environment around us. This year, the initiative coincided perfectly with Palīdzēsim.lv "Week of Good Deeds" campaign, creating a powerful opportunity to make a positive impact. 🙌 So it was the perfect time to kick off these initiatives locally, and our support and management teams (along with other eager colleagues) decided to make a meaningful contribution to the Children Clinical University Hospital's (Bērnu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca) Courage Box initiative. The Courage Box is a collection of small toys placed in each procedure room. After undergoing medical procedures, a child can choose a toy from the box as a reward for their bravery. By ensuring the box is consistently stocked, we can guarantee that every child receives a token of appreciation. Courage Boxes, both in Latvia and around the world, operate thanks to donations. Together, we collected a full box of toys for children and delivered it to the Hospital. We wish both the little patients and medical personnel resilience and courage at all times 💙

Working in an international organization has many advantages, one of which is the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world. Our team members work not only cross-functionally but also cross-country, cooperating with colleagues in Germany, Romania, Estonia, USA and even Malaysia. 🌍✈️ While we have adapted to the hybrid work environment, we recognize the importance of face-to-face interactions for building strong relationships and improving collaboration. That’s why we have an exchange program in place. What does this mean? If you work with cross-country teams, you can apply for the opportunity to spend a month in another country, boosting cooperation and project delivery. Our colleague, Agnese Saukuma, recently participated in this program, traveling to Arvato Systems Malaysia to change MS Teams calls to meeting rooms, work closely with the team there, build relationships, and experience a new culture. 🐲 Thank you to everyone who made Agnese feel so welcome during the Exchange program. SheCanDoIT is a Latvian organization dedicated to empowering women in technology. By fostering a supportive community, sharing professional knowledge, and creating learning opportunities, they bridge the gap between women and the tech industry. 👩💻 Their commitment to reducing gender discrimination aligns perfectly with our own values. Partnering with SheCanDoIT allows us to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable tech landscape while supporting women's professional growth in IT. 🚀   🤝 To build a foundation of our partnership, we co-hosted an event for community members, focusing on recruitment tips and tricks for the IT industry. We also provided a glimpse into our daily work life, office culture, and a chance to hear a career story from our colleague, Viktorija Berne. This is just the beginning, but we're proud to take this step to show women that we're here to support them. 🙌🙏

As part of our Green Office program, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact, focusing not only on our office environment but also on the surrounding area. 🌍🍀 Last weekend, our team gathered to participate in “Daru labu dabai” (Doing Good for Nature) initiative at the Vecdaugava Nature Reserve with support from LIFE IP LatViaNature, Pasaules Dabas Fonds (associated partner to WWF) and Dabas aizsardzības pārvalde/Nature Conservation Agency of Latvia. This activity not only allowed us to contribute physically but also deepened our understanding of preserving natural diversity. 🌾🌱 We worked to remove cut grass from the reserve’s meadow to help preserve the grassland ecosystem, providing essential habitat for birds, plants, and other species. This practice is crucial to maintaining biodiversity and prevents the grass from rotting, which leads to a lack of oxygen and affects the original species diversity. We left the reserve with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed appreciation for the importance of sustainable practices! 🙌

Recently, we’ve had the honor of hosting several guests from various Arvato Systems locations, and last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our colleagues from the Media & Consumer business line in Arvato Systems, Germany. This exchange provided a valuable opportunity to share experiences, deepen our collaboration, and strengthen our understanding of the diverse industries we serve. 🎯   We're committed to delivering exceptional solutions for clients in diverse industries like Consumer Products, Media, Utilities, Industrial Mid Cap, Health, and Public.
