📝 Can Employers Reject an Employee’s MC? 🧐 Yes, but only under specific conditions. Here’s when an employer can say "NO" to an MC: 1. Not From a Panel Clinic 🚫 Unless in the case of an emergency if the service of the company doctor is not available within a reasonable time or distance. 2. Suspicious Alterations 🔍 Example: Changing the dates or altering details on the MC. 3. Illegally Bought/Obtained 💸 If an MC is purchased or obtained illegally, it’s fraud! Employers can take action. 4. No Attending Doctor's Signature or Hospital Stamp ❌ If the MC lacks a doctor’s signature or official hospital/clinic stamp, it can be rejected. Remember, Sick Leaves are a right, but they must not be abused! 💼 #EmploymentRights #HRTips #LabourLaw #Malaysia #WorkplaceEthics

Terminating an employee for poor performance isn’t as simple as it seems. Employers must follow these key steps to ensure fairness and avoid claims of unfair dismissal: Give Clear Warnings ⚠️ Provide Time & Support to Improve ⏳ Document Everything 📝 Prove It’s Justified ✔️ The Industrial Court will look into whether the employer followed due process and gave the employee a fair chance to improve before letting them go. #LabourLaws #EmploymentRights #HR #Malaysia #FairDismissal
