TRM 2.0 just wrapped up with a thrilling capstone project! Participants teamed up to shape the future of the fictional country Prudorf, acting as consultants for either Teledorf, a telecom operator or the Communications Regulatory Authority. They crafted detailed blueprints covering everything from business strategy and tech adoption to regulation, finances, and CSR. Huge congratulations to all for their creativity, teamwork, and dedication throughout this immersive journey! Following the success of Unveiling AgriNXT: Oil Palm Chapter, MCMC is advancing to AgriNXT OPC 2.0, focusing on harvesting technology to tackle labour shortages and productivity challenges. This phase aims to enhance mechanisation for more efficient harvesting under dense oil palm canopies. The networking lunch brings industry leaders together to exchange insights, explore collaborations, and shape AgriNXT OPC 2.0 to align with industry needs. By addressing key challenges, we aim to drive meaningful innovation in the sector. ACE@MCMC Apprentices Dive into Innovation: Experiential Learning Visit (ELV) 🚀   On 20th February 2025, our talented apprentices from the ACE@MCMC Apprenticeship Programme — designed to fast-track careers and unlock potential in the dynamic fields of communications and multimedia, had an exciting opportunity to explore two groundbreaking innovation hubs during an insightful and hands-on ELV at Huawei Customer Solution and Innovation Centre and Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) - My5G Portal. At Huawei Centre, the ACE team had the opportunity to explore the integration of AI technology in real-world applications. The visit enabled the ACE team to explore cutting-edge tech solutions and gain an overview of Huawei as a leading global technology company and how the evolution of technology, offering valuable insights into the future of AI and its impact across various industries. The interactive session with the company representative further benefited the ACE team by clarifying all matters related to the topics discussed.   The next stop was at the DNB - My5G Portal, a collaborative initiative between Digital Nasional Berhad and Ericsson, serving as a hub for knowledge sharing and innovation. Here, the ACE team explored the transformative potential of 5G-powered technologies in automation, AI, extended reality (XR), and robotics through highlighted cases and solutions across 12 industry verticals, including Healthcare, Smart Cities, Public Safety, Logistics, Mobility, Retail, and more. The ELV to DNB - My5G Portal went beyond theoretical knowledge, as the ACE team gained real-life experience, such as the use of 5G in the retail industry through Smart Shopping and the use of 5G in Asset Inspection through Augmented Reality, AR-based equipment.
