𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗢𝗗 This week, the Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown officially launched The Symphony Residences, marking a major milestone for New Zealand’s first fully realised Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). More than just a new development, this event celebrated collaboration, innovation and a shared vision for Auckland’s future. MRCB, in partnership with RCP, a property and construction company, is spearheading The Symphony Centre as the development partner to bring this landmark project that will transform the city's midtown. Rising above Te Waihorotiu Station—soon to be New Zealand’s busiest transport hub—this eco-conscious vertical village in the Aotea Arts Quarter will seamlessly integrate transport, workplaces, retail, hospitality, and cultural spaces, redefining connectivity and urban living. Over 100 key figures from the arts, business, and public sectors attended, including the MRCB's senior leadership Imran Salim, Ravi Krishnan, Amarjit Chhina, along with RCP's Cristean Monreal, Jack Bourke and many others driving this project forward. Guided by MRCB’s five sustainability pillars—People, Planet, Partnership, Prosperity, and Peace—The Symphony Centre will set a new benchmark for sustainable city living. We look forward to delivering a vibrant, thriving community that will redefine Auckland’s midtown for generations to come.
