Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 66 University Place in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Located between East 10th Street and East 11th Street, the lot is near the 8 Street-NYU subway station, serviced by the R train. Ameesh Agarwal of Bsafal Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 125-foot-tall development will yield 54,604 square feet, with 50,630 square feet designated for residential space, 3,764 square feet for commercial space, and 210 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 28 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,808 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

Richard Grey Nemeth of KPF is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    Just outside the historic district.

  3. I’m confused by this article. Is this a misprint? When I Google it it comes up as part of the new 64 University Place development that is just being completed. Is this 66 University a completely different and new development? Looks like the architect is also the same. Help 😀
