Nigeria AgriBusiness Group (NABG) & HortiNigeria Program Champion Tomato Policy Implementation! The NABG and HortiNigeria co-hosted the 1st Roundtable on the Implementation of Nigeria’s Tomato Policy, a crucial step toward unlocking the full potential of the tomato value chain. Despite being approved in 2017 and reviewed in 2021, the policy remains largely unimplemented, leading to significant losses for both farmers and processors. To change this, NABG and Horti Nigeria are mobilizing key stakeholders to drive full implementation. This roundtable marks the beginning of a collective effort to ensure Nigeria’s tomato sector thrives.
