2024 Recap: A Year of Impact & Progress Over the past few days, we’ve revisited some of the incredible milestones that shaped MDS Logistics' journey in 2024. From community impact to workplace well-being, every initiative was a step toward growth, innovation, and making a difference. We wrap up our 2024 recap with our International Men’s Day celebration, a vital moment dedicated to men’s health and well-being. On November 19th, we joined the global celebration of International Men’s Day under the theme "Men’s Health Champions." This important day served as a reminder of the need to prioritize men’s well-being, both in and outside the workplace. To mark the occasion, we organized a virtual session focused on hypertension, diabetes, and prostate cancer, followed by an engaging discussion featuring male employees from across the business. We also reinforced the importance of proactive health management by offering health screenings and vital checks, encouraging men to take charge of their well-being. On October 15th, we hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Talk & Q&A Session in collaboration with our HMOs, reinforcing our commitment to employee well-being. The session provided valuable insights on breast cancer symptoms, risks, and early detection, concluding with a practical breast self-examination guide to promote proactive health management. To further support our employees, free breast cancer screenings were made available to all, encouraging a culture of regular health checks and early intervention. As part of our "Our World, Our Future" strategy, MDS Logistics Ltd partnered with The Military Hospital (68), Yaba to host our first-ever blood donation drive on September 24, 2024. From 10 AM to 2 PM, 31 volunteers took part in preliminary health screenings and vital checks, with 17 eligible donors stepping up to make a life-saving difference. With the support of medical professionals ensuring safety and care, this initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to community health and well-being.
