This #InternationalWomensDay we're backing the next generation of change-makers - young women from Africa and the MENA region – as we grow our commitment to helping those turn their environmental ambition into real impact. 👩🏽💼🧕🏾👩🏽🏫 Through our ongoing partnership with Plan International NL we’re supporting these young women as they head to United Nations NYC to share their stories and contribute to the global conversation on climate solutions. As Korotoumou, 23, from Mali, puts it: “Climate change education is crucial because ignorance around this issue prevents people from finding sustainable solutions.” Knowledge is key to driving practical, lasting impact. 🗝️🌏 While in New York, some of the members will stop by our ACT Group New York office to meet our team and share more about their work. We’re looking forward to hearing their insights firsthand and will share more from our conversation along with some moments from their visit soon. Follow us for more! 🙌🏾 See more about Plan International’s youth work: link in first comment. #ACTonit #ClimateImpact #IWD2025

🏗️ The energy transition & real estate. Energy renovation is no longer an option but a strategic lever for investors and businesses. Olivier OUAZANA, Chairman of ACT Group France, discussed this on radio.immo 🎧 with David Chouraqui and Frédéric Goupil de Bouillé: How can we speed up the transition while creating value? The property sector is at a turning point, with stricter regulations, financial challenges, asset valuation, and other issues. Join us at #MIPIM next week to discuss the best investment and financing strategies to meet these challenges. Listen to the show 👇 #EnergyTransition #MIPIM2025
Article 6 is moving from negotiation to implementation. 🌍 This week at the European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (EuroCham Singapore) event, "Article 6 in focus: Outcomes from COP29," Federico Di Credico shared how businesses can leverage #Article6 of the Paris Agreement to drive impact. From moderating a panel discussion with experts across the public and private sectors to outlining key developments, here’s what sustainability leaders need to know: 💪 A breakthrough at #COP29 has accelerated Article 6 adoption, with 56+ countries signing bilateral agreements. This paves the way for more structured international carbon trading. Companies looking to compensate for emissions or meet compliance obligations can now access a new pool of credits. 💼 Businesses have opportunities to get involved. Whether through developing or financing Article 6-aligned projects or offering support services like insurance, companies can enable credits compliant with mechanisms like #CORSIA and Singapore’s carbon tax. With ACT’s expertise in carbon markets, we help businesses navigate these frameworks while also supporting voluntary carbon credit strategies. 🚦 2025 will be a turning point. With the Article 6.4 Supervisory Body launching an interim carbon registry and approving the first Clean Development Mechanism project transition, the framework is quickly taking shape. Companies can soon secure carbon credits aligned to the UN's quality standards. 💡 The takeaway? Businesses that act early will be well-prepared. Whether you want to meet your compliance obligations or voluntary goals, ACT can help you navigate fast-evolving developments and secure Article 6-aligned credits. Connect with Federico and follow ACT Group for more regulatory insights. Thanks to Deanna Tan Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore), and Dr. Kalpana Seethepalli, Director of ESG, Asia Pacific Deutsche Bank, for sharing their expertise and contributing to this important discussion. #ACTonit #SustainabilityLeadership

Our biggest event of the year at #Eworld25 certainly lived up to expectations! 🎤 We asked our team what topics stood out the most - here’s what they had to say: "The biggest challenges for 2025? Regulation complexity, scaling sustainability, and meeting transparency demands. Clear goals and strong partnerships will drive progress. Our biomethane webinar with ERGaR at our stand was a great success - over 50 companies joined!" – Cyrille Scemama, VP Commercial EMEA "Supply chain engagement is key to decarbonization. When companies provide suppliers with the right tools, like access to renewable electricity, real impact follows. Our work with ZF saw supplier commitments surpass 40% in the US and Canada." – Caio Lopes de Melo, Scope 3 Decarbonization Client Partner ⚡ A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined our sessions, or grabbed a coffee with us. Let’s keep the conversation going - connect with us and follow for more insights! 👉🏽 Special thanks to Dilip Weemstra for delivering our best stand yet! #ACTonit

🔎 Scaling Carbon Finance for Smallholders: Challenges & Solutions At Chocoa sustainability conference, Joost Gorter, ACT’s Global Director, #ESG, chaired a discussion on carbon finance for farmers. The conversation highlighted a critical challenge: smallholders struggle to access voluntary carbon markets (#VCM) due to unpredictable funding and limited scale. Key pathways to bridge this gap: 🏛️ National & regional aggregation – Governments can provide the regulation to allow for scaled programs. 👩🏽🌾 Innovation – Technologies like biochar can enable smaller-scale participation. 🚚 Scaling through organized supply chains with carbon finance-enabled insetting – As corporations invest in carbon reductions within their supply chains, they leverage decades of investing in the structure of their supply chains. Carbon credits can be a funding mechanism to create an additional revenue stream for farmers. At ACT Group, we work across compliance and voluntary carbon markets to turn these opportunities into action. Join the conversation and connect with Joost to explore how market-based #sustainability solutions can create lasting climate impact.
