Happy Diwali! ✨ This is a time of celebration for many, including dear team members at #AnthonyVeder. Sai B. Thimmanoor, Reliability Engineer, shares his thoughts about Diwali and celebrating with colleagues. "Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, is a major festival symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. It involves lighting diyas, decorating homes, exchanging gifts, and enjoying festive sweets and fireworks.    Celebrating diversity and different festivals in the workplace is a wonderful way to foster an inclusive and vibrant company culture. By celebrating diversity and various festivals, we cultivate a rich tapestry of experiences that enhances our work culture. Last month, five of our seafarers attended a course on dual fuel engines at Wärtsilä Netherlands B.V. Land & Sea Academy. Petr, Second Engineer on Coral Pearl, says: "We not only immersed ourselves in complex technical aspects, but also enjoyed a good dinner or walk into the beautiful city of Drunen. At the end of the course, I realized that it was one of the best learning experiences of my life: excellent knowledge, professional teachers, and unforgettable impressions of the Netherlands." Our goal is to get everybody home safe. Building the strong #safety culture needed for this doesn't just happen. That's why we organised the Safety Leadership Training this week. 🎯 One of the attendees is Wenda, Chief Officer with Anthony Veder. This is what he has to say about the training. "It's been a great and joyful experience. We learned a lot of new information and skills about safety and leadership. I'm excited to take this knowledge back to the crew." There was also plenty of time for team building. 🤝 "We got to know each other with activities like rock climbing and karaoke." And as the training took place in Rotterdam, they also tried oliebollen a typical Dutch end-of-year treat. 💪 Thanks to the entire group for the energy and commitment they brought to this week, and for helping us keep Anthony Veder safe and successful. #AnthonyVeder #NavigatingTheFuture

Anthony Veder is now the first worldwide to install sails on a gas carrier.
