De 20e editie van PROVADA zit er weer op! In drie dagen hebben wij ontelbaar veel handen geschud, gesprekken gevoerd en afspraken gemaakt voor nadere kennismaking. Op onze volledig duurzame stand, ontworpen met onder meer zeewierpanelen van BlueBlocks Concepts en tegels van gerecycled olifantsgras (Miscanthus) en betonpuin van Bio Bound, kwam onze visie tot leven: ‘Beyond Buildings, Shaping Sustainable Spaces’. Van presentaties over de toegevoegde waarde van een circulaire vastgoedstrategie en de kansen die stationsgebieden bieden voor stedelijke ontwikkeling, tot aan panelgesprekken over de waarde van duurzaamheid, en innovatiedistricten als catalysator van regionale groei. Why throw away the waste product of seaweed when you can also turn it into textile paint or biobuilding materials?  That's why Zeefier, BlueBlocks Concepts, Spaak Circular Solutions B.V., Universiteit Gent, The Seaweed Company and North Sea Farmers joined forces for the AlgaeValor project. Zeefier's first tests were positive. They show that it is possible to use this seaweed as a dye to colour white wool using their secret recipe. Zeefier believes seaweed is the answer to the polluting textile industry because it does not need fresh water, farmland or chemicals to grow. It purifies CO2 and produces oxygen, making it the perfect sustainable solution for the fashion and interior design industries. 🌿 Direct seeding has never before yielded good results at Jacobahaven, until now! This week Sander van Rijswijk (CIV), Samuel Silvestre Nuernberg, Petra Steenhoek Hortimare, Britt De Ruijter, koen hulsinga The Seaweed Company and Aranka Kolmas North Sea Farmers harvested seaweed from The Seaweed Company’s Dutch farm, Zeewaar . Around 70kg of Dutch Saccharina Latissima was brought in, part of which was dried for further analysis, and part was donated to BlueBlocks Concepts who can use if for their SeaWoods material, bio circular building material made from seaweed. The seaweed was cultivated as part of the ZeewierSEEDER project, which aims to develop an automatized method to direct seed nets for large scale offshore cultivation. Last november, the nets were deployed using a novel method, and the data from this harvest will be used to optimize the process. Goed nieuws! #Biobased plaatmateriaal van Nederlandse bodem bij Baars & Bloemhoff. Samen met onze ketenpartners Renewi, SAM Panels en BlueBlocks Concepts zetten we reststromen uit de Nederlandse glas- en tuinbouw in als bio-based plaatmateriaal voor de #interieurbouw. Dit doen we in samenwerking met een volledige Land naar Pand keten vanuit Building Balance. We praten over 2 platen die als basis groene reststromen uit de glastuinbouw benutten en opwaarderen.   Wij kwamen bijeen in Broeinest Amsterdam met HARRYVAN, Gielissen Interiors | Exhibitions | Events, Domburg Bodegraven B.V., JPG Hulsebosch, INTOS, BM Interieurs BV, Harmeling Interieurs I B.V., Smeulders Interieurgroep, Gieskes Interieur, Rusink Interieur B.V. om op zoek te gaan naar een materiaal dat economisch én ecologisch geschikt is voor (interieur)bouwprojecten. Met deze stap zetten we een nieuwe standaard neer in onze branche en tonen we een succesvol voorbeeld en concrete richtingen voor anderen. Meer weten? Wat gaaf om zoveel positieve reacties te krijgen op onze samenwerking met DKG Group, Bruynzeel Keukens en Keller Kitchens! We gaan samen véél en véél meer circulaire keukens produceren, wat uniek is in Nederland! Deze week staan we met één zo’n keuken op de vakbeurs Renovatie & Transformatie in Den Bosch. Ook daar krijgen we superveel goede reacties, van woningcorporaties en aannemers. Zij en jij als beursganger kunnen onze keuken met eigen ogen zien. We leggen uit hoe de losmaakbare verbindingen werken, waarmee de keuken weer uit elkaar. Dat is superhandig bij reparatie en recycling. Bespaar op kosten en afval. En je kunt als beursganger de plantaardige materialen zien en voelen die we gebruiken. Op de beurs tonen we: 👉 Onze standaard kastjes van resthoutvezels (hergebruik van hout = meer CO2-opslag) 👉 Deurtjes gemaakt van gemaaid riet, uit Nationaal Park Weerribben-Wieden, door VanHier en Klaske Postma 👉 Deurtjes van zeewier, gemaakt door BlueBlocks Concepts en Marjanne Cuypers-Henderson. Zeewier is hernieuwbaar en overvloedig beschikbaar. 👉 Een blad van steengruis en gerecyclede PET-flessen, gemaakt door Sustonable. Chic, steen en toch duurzaam. Onze keuken bestaat dankzij jarenlange innovatie, zowel van onszelf als van andere pioniers. We hebben superveel zin deze innovaties samen met DKG Group Groep op te schalen, voor een duurzamer Nederland. Hoe gaan we van schattig naar schaal met deze 2 biobased plaatpartijen van NL bodem? Zoiezo in samenwerking met een volledige Land naar Pand keten vanuit Building Balance waarbij aan de voorzijde de vraag vastleggen misschien wel de grootste uitdaging is. We hebben daar samen met Baars & Bloemhoff om mooie stap in gezet. Samen met 35 van hun klanten kwamen in het #broeinest Samuel Lagerweij Amsterdam bij elkaar om de potentiële vraag naar #SAM panel en BlueBlocks Concepts nader te specificeren op basis van hun behoeftes. Daar zijn een aantal concrete richtingen en vervolgstappen uit gekomen. We praten over 2 platen die als basis groene reststromen uit de glastuinbouw benutten en opwaarderen. Renewi Nederland werkt deze #biomassastroom op tot een bruikbare vezel. Samen versnellen. Een goed bezoek van minister voor Buitenlandse Handel en Ontwikkelingssamenwerking Geoffrey van Leeuwen aan BlueCity (010) deze week! Sabine Biesheuvel liet de mooie mogelijkheden zien van ondernemen in een circulaire economie. Met Astarte Krijgsman van BlueBlocks Concepts ging de minister in gesprek over onze biocirculaire plaatmaterialen van zeewier en groene reststromen SeaWood Materials. En over plagen verwaarden - een triple-win! Dank voor het bezoek en de interesse!
