We're happy to share that our colleague Vivek Kurup has won the 1st prize of the Student Steel Prize with his master thesis on "Design and analysis of an underwater Wedge Connection". Since his graduation Vivek started as a full-time colleague with the company. It's nice to see Vivek's work of his Masters thesis is appreciated by others as well!

Following a busy week, last Friday was the perfect day for our summer company outing again. We hit the road with a bike ride through many authentic estates in Wassenaar after which we tried our luck on the water with "E-foiling" and some stand up paddling. We then went on to bike further and ended the day on the beachfront where we oversaw the sun setting over the Hollandse Kust Zuid Windfarm. The great colleagues and great water made it a very nice day. And yes, we've noticed that, though we have 4 nationalities in our team we are a male dominated team. We encourage any energetic female colleagues to join us.

In less than two weeks the holiday period is officially over again. So let's start up nicely at the next IQPC foundation conference in Bremen.
