From October 14 to 16, Canon Production Printing hosted IGI – The Global Wallcoverings Association for their biannual technical conference. Nearly 100 people enjoyed the program, many of them current Colorado and UVgel Wallpaper Factory users. The event started with an aperitif at the Museum van Bommel van Dam in Venlo. The next day all participants were welcomed at Canon Production Printing HQ for a morning full of insightful sessions about digital printing innovations, sustainability and industry trends. This sparked meaningful discussions and opened up new avenues for the future of wallcoverings. The afternoon included a visit to the production site of Leolux Furniture Group and a tour at our Customer Experience Center, where participants were given an overview of our large-format digital printing solutions. Followed by a tabletop session where members could showcase their own products. In the evening, a dinner was organized and the presidency of IGI was officially handed over from Pascal Siellet (who has headed IGI for the past 8 years) to James Watson. On Wednesday, October 16, after a final morning of conferences, 75 participants enthusiastically decided to visit our production sites for our Colorado printheads and UVgel inks.
