Hét digitaal ritdossier voor wegtransport met realtime inzicht op alle devices. Ben jij klaar voor papierloos werken?
Over ons

𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹? Open source software has the power to revolutionising traditional business models, services and processes! By embracing open source, businesses can e. g. lower costs, improve flexibility, and foster innovation. While concerns about issues such as integration difficulties, complex license management and security risks exist, open source communities like our Innovation Community are in place to ensure efficient and strategic leveraging of open source software for commodities. 💡 Looking at our open source based eCMR solution, which is still under development, we have member companies such as Cargo Sign, CargoLedger, LKW WALTER, PIONIRA NV, Transporeon and TransFollow, which have their own eCMR solutions and platforms successfully on the market. Yet, they are actively working on a commodity layer of the eCMR, which they can then use to adapt to their individual solutions to be more interoperable. 🎯 Why do they want to collaborate? They all share a common goal of digitalising logistics and uniting supply chain systems. This can only be done through working together on their commonly faced challenges while leveraging combined experiences and expertise to create better solutions that work for all and drive innovation. A single company cannot achieve such results on their own. A study done by Manuel Hoffmann from Harvard Business Review reveals that companies would have to invest an average of 3.5 times as much in software and platforms if there were no open source software solutions. Stay tuned for a deep dive into business models and open source implementation in the upcoming 4th edition of the Open Logistics Magazine. 👉🏻 Register for future editions here: https://lnkd.in/eWGREnGY #digitalisation #opensource #businessmodels

Almost two weeks ago already. Time flies! Great event! Great vibes and always good share ideas and beliefs on how #opensource and #openstandards in #supplychain, #logistics and #transport will make the world a better place! #innovation #paperless #ecmr #blockchain.
𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱… The Open Source Innovation Days 2024, which took place last week, was a resounding success! For the second time, the Open Logistics Foundation's member summit was hosted at Spielfeld Digital Hub in Berlin. The event was a blend of insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and deep-dive workshops, all centred around the unique intersection of logistics and open source. 💡 The speakers offered exciting insights into various topics, from the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act, a perspective on open source in a large enterprise, to questions all around procurement and the value of open source. Furthermore, our Working Group leads gave an overview of the current work and already achieved accomplishments of our four Working Groups. This year, the event was spread over one and a half days, allowing our Innovation Community more time for networking and idea exchange, as well as taking a deep dive into some of the topics. On the second day, the workshops offered the chance to participate in discussions focused on Transport Law, procurement, preparing for open source and finding a suitable form of communication. 3 key learnings we took from all of the shared knowledge: Without using open source, companies would need to spend 3,5 times as much on innovations and software development. The Cyber Resilience Act does affect everyone; preparation is critical. No matter whether small or big, companies must prepare when using open source; it needs to be a strategic decision to use open source. 🎉 But as always, these events are not only about the content but more so about the people there. 𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. It is the joined effort of all our members that pushes the work of the Open Logistics Foundation. Together, we are shaping the future of logistics! 🚀 This is our fabolous community: AEB | ALS Customs Services | ANDKAEBER | Aventeon | BLG LOGISTICS GROUP AG & Co. Great to be part of this project and consortium! #innovation #sustanability #supplychain #digitization #logistics #transport #ecmr #kenya Docklab Port of Rotterdam Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Wageningen University & Research, Windesheim, TKI DINALOG Trade and Logistics Information Pipeline CargoLedger
RSM and Docklab receive TKI Dinalog grant for RESULD - REsponsible SUpply chains and Logistics Due dilligence A consortium led by the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and Docklab has been awarded almost half a million euros in funding for end-to-end digitization of fruit and vegetable chains between Kenya and the Netherlands, Kenya and the United Kingdom and the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The emphasis is on regulated and self-imposed measures within these chains aimed at product quality and #ESG. Both have only recently begun to transform into digitized processes and thus offer opportunities for accelerating digitization. One of the unique aspects of the project is its end-to-end character, which is made possible by collaboration between the consortium members and the Trade and Logistics Information Pipeline digital infrastructure built on IOTA ’s distributed ledger technology in collaboration with TradeMark Africa. A consortium led by the British The Institute of Export & International Trade has previously trailed TLIP for global trade data sharing in the Ecosystem of Trust pilots organized by the UK government. Consortium members CargoLedger, with its eCMR solution, and Annona Deep Tier Impact Finance bv, a deep-tier impact finance fund active in West Africa. The project builds on the results of previous TKI DINALOG projects focused on digitalization; namely GEDAC, aimed at digitizing the phytosanitary certificate and Spark! - Living Lab, which, among other things, worked on digital transfer of ownership of the bill of lading and a digital supply chain twin solution. In addition, practical applications from other Dutch and European research projects, such as AGF-Chain and QuayConnect, will also be integrated within the project. Finally, four new use cases will be identified during the project that will accelerate the transformation to digitalized processes. The Wageningen University & Research and Windesheim University of Applied Science contribute their specific knowledge in the field of digitization of fruit and vegetable chains and the modeling of complex chains. The Port of Rotterdam Authority supports the project based on its vision of global Green & Digital corridors. Fresh Produce Centre (GroentenFruit Huis) ensures dissemination and coordination with the digital agenda within the fruit and vegetable sector. TKI DINALOG is the Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics where companies, knowledge institutions, and government collaborate on the innovation program of the Logistics Top Sector. Since 2009, TKI Dinalog has been fostering the development of applicable knowledge for innovations in logistics and international logistics chains.
