SOS International Partnerships: Nh1816 Nh1816 Verzekeringen, a private damages insurer, has chosen SOS International to grow with them. The company had been experiencing steady growth, with a remarkable 15% increase last year. Seeking an independent assistance provider not tied to an insurer, they found a perfect match in SOS International. "We already collaborated with CED for fire and travel insurance," shares Rob Vissers of Nh1816. "Knowing SOS International from past experiences, we explored a partnership in mobility and personal assistance.” SOS International provides mobility assistance in the Netherlands and Europe, and personal assistance worldwide for Nh1816's customers. They also manage the emergency hotline and recourse cases.  "The support during peak winter sports seasons proved their worth, and the first quarter of 2024 showed minimal issues. CED Collaborations: KIWA Since April 1st, all work on vehicle security components and software must be performed by SERMI-certified companies and mechanics. This includes security-related parts like keys, locks, and ECUs, as well as remote software work. Mounir El-Berrah, Managing Director SCM & Mobility at Kiwa Nederland, explains: “For instance, if a car key is lost and needs reprogramming, the service provider must have access to the manufacturer’s software. SERMI certification ensures that companies and their employees are authorized to handle these tasks.” Kiwa, a leading player in vehicle security certification, is now an accredited SERMI inspection institute. CED CBC plays a crucial role in this process by verifying compliance through document checks and surprise visits, ensuring the highest standards. A look across borders: Bulgaria Our Sofia Operations team has grown into a formidable group of dedicated colleagues, and with this growth, their sense of being an integral part of CED has never been stronger. Recently, Milen Yordanov joined as the second team leader alongside Tzvetana Krasteva. As Tzvetana puts it, "We have so much contact with everyone and really feel like a full-fledged part of the group." Tzvetana, who has been with CED in Sofia for two years, highlights their diverse responsibilities: “In Sofia, we handle back-office work for CED files across different countries. This includes administration, taking phone calls, planning, reporting, and invoicing. We also handle claims for our offices when required.
