Access to reliable energy is critical for education, especially in times of crisis. That’s why we're supporting the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation in equipping schools with solar power solutions that ensure learning continues, even during outages. Bobryk Gymnasium and Nemishaieve Lyceum No. 2, two schools impacted by war, are now part of the “100 Solar Schools” project. With new hybrid solar power stations, these schools have access to clean, reliable energy, providing up to four hours of backup power during blackouts. This not only supports uninterrupted education but also helps reduce CO2 emissions by a combined 848 tons over 25 years and saves thousands of euros annually in electricity costs, allowing schools to invest in other critical needs. Beyond energy resilience, students at both schools are also benefiting from an educational course on sustainability and green energy, helping to instill eco-friendly habits for the future. Recently, an opening ceremony was held to celebrate this milestone and the resilience of these communities. Read more about their mission and initiatives: https://lnkd.in/dRJt-DZ2
