Egied Van Broeckhoven School has won the (Semi) Public Development category at the RES Awards 2024. Invesis welcomed S4 pupils Matthew and Lauren to our office as part of their school’s work experience program. Matthew and Lauren worked with colleagues from different departments gaining insight into our business, our culture, and what it’s like to work in a professional office environment. Reflecting on the experience, Matthew shared, “I really enjoyed learning how different teams interact and work together. I especially liked working with the Marketing and Communications team, where I helped update sections of Invesis' website and learned about the importance of a strong company brand. Significant steps have been taken to enhance energy efficiency at our A94 Forstinning – Marktl concession in Germany. Isentalautobahn Services – a joint venture between Invesis, Eiffage, and Berger Bau – has successfully installed a 170 kWp solar panel system on the highway station rooftops, along with a 60 kWh storage battery. By harnessing solar energy, the PV system is projected to generate approximately 70% of electricity required for the project, equating to around 35,000 kWh per annum. The energy is also needed to power our growing fleet of electric patrol vehicles.
