𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐥𝐲 From 17 – 21 March Lely took part in the Week of the Circular Economy, as circularity is an important driver in lowering our environmental impact. We are thrilled to see so many colleagues, including those joining online, come together for a series of inspirational events. Some of the key highlights during the week: 🎥 Campus Cinema ‘Biocentricos’: Showcased nature’s wisdom and biomimicry. 👌🏼Panel discussion: Co-hosted with 𝐹𝐷𝑃, discussing material ownership, digital product passports, and circular economy models. 🗯️ Keynote by Jan Jonker: valuable insights on sustainability and circularity. 🌱 Inspirational Circular Thinking: Workshop on reusing parts and wholegoods. Circularity is one of the main drivers in lowering our environmental impact and this week was all about informing and inspiring our Lely colleagues. Today, during the Feed your Business event, we proudly presented 𝐋𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐕𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐅𝐑 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭: the new mixing and feeding robot that takes automated precision feeding to a higher level. This week Jessika Roswall, Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and Competitive Circular Economy, and Christophe Hansen, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, visited one of our Flemish customers. We believe that innovation can contribute to sustainable agriculture. By valorising manure as RENURE, we improve circularity on farm and reduce the need to purchase artificial fertilizer.
