Get change done. That’s what the can do company is all about. When Managing Director Wieke Wernink - Dijkstra OLY and team set out to redefine the brand, she partnered with Momkai to bring clarity to their vision and create an identity and platform that fully captures their can-do mentality. We asked Wieke how she experienced the collaboration: “The branding has given our team an enormous boost. The pride with which we now send out presentations and proposals, myself included, is something I hadn’t seen before. During the process, there was a moment of sharp critique regarding the copy. The team handled this with the utmost professionalism, transforming our feedback into a result that perfectly aligned with our expectations. This demonstrates their self-critical approach and dedication to quality — perhaps the most compelling reason why I would recommend Momkai." Thank you, Wieke, for trusting us to help realize your bold vision. And also, big shout out to Polle van Duuren, Caroline Asselbergs-van Dijl and the rest of the team for bringing the brand further to life. Find out more in the case here: https://lnkd.in/eVpKYJBd

Over ons
Momkai is the pioneering Memberful Design Studio. Leveraging strategic insights, we empower founders and organizations to build lasting communities. We have launched global platforms, broken crowdfunding records, and built impactful brands. Momkai collaborates with value-aligned, mission-driven entities, including esteemed institutions like Imperial College London, New York University, and innovative companies such as Golazo, Bugaboo, Adyen, Canada Goose, and Renews in Tokyo. Momkai has united 1.2 million members of the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), fostered collaboration among European researchers with The Embassy of Good Science, and helped to initiate meaningful projects from scratch, like Oncode Institute, the innovative cancer research initiative. As co-founders of De Correspondent, Momkai has been instrumental in designing an ad-free, member-funded journalism platform dedicated to insightful, in-depth news. We helped create two world-record-breaking crowdfunding campaigns in 2013 and 2018 – and continue to work on the brand and platform to this day. Our team embraces our 'design philosophy of cultivating calm,' embedding calm into all our designs to ensure content takes center stage and engages deeply with audiences. Momkai introduced this design philosophy at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in 2016. Founded in 2002 by Harald Dunnink, Momkai continues to be at the forefront of innovative, entrepreneurial, and impactful design.

Last week, our team joined The School for Moral Ambition’s Community Drinks and witnessed three of their iconic soap box pitches in action. The concept is simple: you have one minute to pitch your plan to make the world a better place. Whether it’s launching an initiative, searching for a job, or sparking a conversation, it all starts by stepping onto the soap box. At Momkai, we helped bring this moment to life by customizing a branded soap box – a visual anchor that stands out. Curious to see it in action at a future event? Sign up for the School for Moral Ambition community and be part of the conversation.

We are sorry 💙 (Public Statement) Over the past year, there has been speculation that GORM has changed. That we’ve strayed too far. That we’ve done something irreversible. Some have whispered that we’ve abandoned our identity, that we’ve taken things in an unexpected direction, that we’re not the same GORM anymore. And honestly? They’re absolutely right. As the founder of GORM, I’ve spent the past year reflecting, recalibrating, and making some bold decisions, decisions where I have had to let go of the things that were no longer serving us. And so, with full accountability and a heavy heart, I want to personally apologise… …for absolutely EATING with our brand-new website. 💅🔥😏 Shoutout to the team in Momkai for understanding the assignment… Check out GORM New and Improved : www.gormmedia.com #socialenterprise #socialinnovation #impactbusiness

Now on shelves — a new ‘Vonkje’ from De Correspondent. Small but powerful booklets designed to spark new perspectives. Our latest cover design is for Maar dat begrijp jij toch niet by Karim Amghar — a passionate call to recognize the true value of vocational education. As a former student turned educator, Karim challenges deep-rooted biases about hands-on education (MBO), showing why it’s actually the Most Essential Education (Meest Belangrijke Onderwijs) in the Netherlands. “You can’t ignore Karim Amghar if you care about education and equal opportunities.” – Robbert Dijkgraaf 📖 Get your copy here: https://lnkd.in/eKChB_8t
