Our valued customer BrandSafway assists in the construction of the 28-story skyscraper for the world-famous watchmaker ROLEX. RAXTAR, provided a large special cabin to enable the vertical transportation of curtain walls, which required unique construction hoist dimensions. Unique construction hoist for London project Bankside yards 🇬🇧 For our rental fleet, RAXTAR finalized the engineering of the first RX4050 construction hoist uniquely equipped with a hydraulic ramp, offering a platform size of 3x5 meters. Our experienced team assembled this brand new machine in our HQ workshop. The specially designed hoist will be installed on the second tower of the project Bankside yards, on the South Bank of London’s River Thames. The façade hoist will vertically transport all façade panels. During construction works, the hydraulic ramp enables to close the façade of the lower floors, while the tower is continuing to grow to reach its final height of 170 meters (49 floors). Installation Trip to the #GrandView Project (US) with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company 👷♂️ Our engineer has assisted in the installation of the first twin hoist: Expert RX 3245HF, featuring our newest control system joystick hybrid. This is the first install, with another 3 twin configurations to follow, making it a total of 8 hoists!
