Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geoscientist to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for expanding and purifying our feedstock sources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geochemistry, mineralogy, and geosciences, with a passion for sustainable environmental solutions. This position involves conducting experimental analyses to characterise minerals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to feedstock identification and mapping projects.
• Collect and characterize rock samples.
• Conduct research and development on mineral separation and purification in collaboration with academic institutions.
• Write grant applications, patents, journal articles, and white papers, present findings at conferences.
• Manage projects in collaboration with external partners.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent in Geochemistry, Mineralogy, or a related field with an in-depth understanding of mineral structures and properties, particularly magnesium and calcium silicate minerals (e.g., olivine and serpentine).
• Minimum of five years of relevant research experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in geochemical software and laboratory techniques such as XRD, XRF, SEM, ChemScan, etc.
• Strong skills in analysing experimental data and utilising statistical tools.
• Project management experience in planning, executing, and managing research projects within set timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, and product development.
