The ASEMlab is a laboratory of the Dept. of Manufacturing and Civil Engineering (IVB), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Gjøvik, Norway. It was established in 2018, by Prof. Sotirios Grammatikos, through the Group of Sustainable Composites Research of NTNU. The ASEMlab aims at research and education in processing, testing, characterization, recycling, modelling and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of renewable materials, polymers, advanced composites, nanocomposites, smart functional materials used in the civil engineering, automotive, aerospace, space, marine, health and consumer goods sectors. The ASEMlab is envisaged to become the core of the Norwegian Composites Research. Members of ASEMlab are active in both national and international research programmes and clusters.
