Great news, BCS has extended the MOU with TKG Huchems. For the second time, BCS has extended the MOU with one more year with the South Korean company TKG Huchems. The intent of the MOU is to develop Carbon Nano Tubes (CNT) utilizing technology from Bergen Carbon Solutions, targeting battery cell manufacturers in the Asian region. Our CEO, Odd Strømsnes, comments: "This second extension of our partnership demonstrates the long-term commitment and confidence that we have developed with our partner in South-Korea. Our relationship moves forward as our technological maturity is increasing." 

Beyonder and Bergen Carbon Solutions sign LOI to enhance the technical capabilities of Beyonder batteries and secure local supply of critical carbons. "Local and sustainable battery production will be key as EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) will enhance the strategic importance for the battery producers to team up with new sustainable technology providers in the raw material space like BCS. Together with Beyonder, we will work to reduce their supply chain risk and their corresponding CO2 footprint in the years to come" says Odd Strømsnes, CEO of BCS. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dBTX2aDX

Today BCS provides an operational update and financial results for the second quarter and first half year of 2024. “This quarter has again been marked by additional steps in our thrive to further develop our CCU technology, the development of new industrial partnerships, and the enhancement of our organisational structure to better align with our strategic goals. Our equity story based on local production of strategic sustainable material for the battery industry, is indeed seeing an increasingly relevance as the challenging geopolitical situation continues,” says Odd Strømsnes, CEO of Bergen Carbon Solutions.
