Though we missed a few of our colleagues, it was still an incredible night filled with laughter and joy as the women of Cambi and Grønn Vekst AS came together to celebrate International Women's Day in Asker, Norway! 💜✨ We enjoyed delicious food and fun games and got to know one another better. It's truly inspiring to see the number of women in Cambi growing year after year—an achievement we're proud of as we believe that representation matters. A huge thank you to our organising committee for putting together such a memorable evening! 💐 #IWD #WomenAtCambi

This month, we’re talking about #Codigestion—starting with a 2019 article on the topic! This piece highlights wastewater treatment plants in Asia and Scandinavia that successfully use thermal hydrolysis to process both sludge and food waste. Thanks to Dr Ashish Sahu for this resource, originally published for the National Solid Waste Association of India (NSWAI)'s Waste Monitor magazine. 📄 Download the article via the link in the comments. #Biogas #Biosolids #ThermalHydrolysis #WastewaterTreatment #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #FoodWaste

We’ve just signed to deliver a Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) system for the new Silvouta wastewater treatment plant in Santiago de Compostela – our 5th contract in Spain! This state-of-the-art project is being developed in partnership with a consortium formed by Espina Obras Hidraulicas S.A.U., OHLA and Aguambiente and will be a key step towards more sustainable wastewater treatment for the capital city of Galicia. Here’s what this project will achieve for Silvouta and the municipality: ✅ Maximised Benefits Through the ITHP configuration: The Cambi thermal hydrolysis system will be installed between two digestion stages—a configuration that enhances energy recovery and improves sludge dewatering while producing high-quality biosolids. ✅ Sustainable Resource Recovery: The treated sludge will be transformed into stable biosolids suitable for land application, supporting circular economy principles and sustainable agriculture. ✅ Energy Self-Sufficiency: The integration of THP at Silvouta aligns with the plant’s goal of generating energy for internal consumption, reducing reliance on external energy sources. A UNESCO World Heritage city, Santiago de Compostela is world-renowned as the final destination of the Camino de Santiago, drawing hundreds of thousands of pilgrims each year. We are glad to contribute to the preservation of its rich heritage when the plant becomes operational in the coming years! For more details, access the press release at the link in the comments.
