Color Fantasy has been in wet dock in Odense, Denmark, and is now back in service. ⛴️ ✨ Here are some of the works that have been carried out: 🔵 A new row of seats has been installed in the Show Lounge, and a new sound system has been mounted 🔵 In the Observation Lounge, a new stage with an LED wall and dance floor has been built 🔵 Trash bins around the entire ship have been replaced with new waste sorting stations 🔵 Carpets and flooring have been replaced throughout the ship 🔵The scrubber system (exhaust cleaning) has been upgraded 🔵The main engine has been overhauled 🔵 Mooring winches have been overhauled 🔵 Maintenance work has been carried out throughout the entire ship A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this great work ⚓️💙👏 #colorline #dock #teamwork

What happens when our ships enter the dock? ⚓ 🛠️ Every year, our ships undergoes a docking period to ensure they remain seaworthy and efficient. Here’s what happens during that periode: 1️⃣ Hull cleaning & repairs: removing marine growth and addressing any structural wear or damage. 2️⃣ Engine & system checks: inspecting machinery, safety equipment, and essential systems. 3️⃣ Repainting & coatings: applying protective layers to prevent corrosion and reduce drag. 4️⃣ Upgrades & compliance: ensuring the ship meets modern safety and environmental standards. The docking period is critical for keeping our ships safe, efficient, and ready to navigate the north sea.
