Framo is a pump manufacturer based in Bergen, Norway. From it's beginning in 1938, the company has grown into a worldwide organization with subsidiaries on three continents. Today Framo with 1200 employees is a leading manufacturer of submerged pumping systems for the tanker shipping and offshore industry. We work actively with our customers and provide competence and experience. With dedication, structured work and continuous improvements we develop tomorrow's pumping systems. Framo is a part of the Alfa Laval group and Bergen is the business center for marine pumping systems. The Framo products are sold and serviced by Framo only.

Some of our highly qualified female employees Lana Tollefsen, Tone Rekkedal and Kirsten Kelly attended Kvinner i Kuling 2024, organized by Maritime Bergen. This initiative aims to inspire more women to explore the exciting opportunities in this dynamic field. Through speed-dating sessions, they shared insights and experiences to encourage more female students to build a career in shipping and offshore. Today is NRK TV-aksjonen, the world’s largest fundraising campaign measured by the number of volunteers and the amount of donation collected per inhabitant. On Friday, 75 colleagues at Framo participated in "Hopp for Barnekreftforeningen", jumping into the sea to kick off our support for the Childhood Cancer Society and this nationwide campaign. At Florvåg, Fusa, Flatøy/Holsnøy, and with our sister company StormGeo at Nøstet, we united for a cause that touches so many lives—helping children with cancer.
