💡 With increasing wind turbine sizes in mind – how large should a future-proof Wind Turbine Installation Wind Vessel be? The decision for the size of Havfram's two vessels (currently under construction) has not been made over night and was a result of close dialogues with turbine manufacturers. ✍ We have signed a new contract! 🙌 Havfram has has been awarded a contract by Iberdrola for the installation of 21 wind turbines at their Windanker project in the Baltic Sea. The agreement covers transport and installation support, which Havfram will execute from summer of 2026. 👉 Windanker, located in the German Baltic Sea, will reach an installed capacity of 315 MW after its commissioning in 2026. Most of the renewable electricity generated by the new Siemens Gamesa 15 MW turbines will be commercialized through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) on the German market. 🤝 We, at Havfram, are extremely proud to have signed our first contract with Iberdrola! Everyone of us played their part by running one of the 15 different stretches of different length and difficulty with the relay baton. Today's team effort made us even beat our statistics from 2023! 💪 👟 Perfect team-wellbeing combined with quite a bit of team pride! Today, we at Havfram, put on our favorite football jerseys to join one big "national" team fighting for the biggest goal: to win over children's cancer! 💪 🇳🇴 💯 ⚽ Every year Barnekreftforeningen (Norwegian Children's Cancer Association) invites to "Fotballtrøyefredag" to support their important fight by showing up in fan colors and football jerseys to work. An measure with pleasure and a cause we support with whole hearts: No child should die of cancer! We need to speed up medical research and raise awareness for children's cancer which differs significantly from adult cancer. 🚩 ❗ 👉 You can help too! "Two tough trials and ultra long runs" 🔥 🔥 🏃♀️ – We would like to share that Norwegian Shipowners' Association (Norges Rederiforbund) has published an interview with Havfram CEO Ingrid Due-Gundersen. Norwegian Shipowners' Association (Norges Rederiforbund) writes: "She started a new job with responsibility for cash flow when the financial crisis hit in 2008. On the first day of her new job in 2020, Covid-19 struck. In her free time, she runs ultra distances. "My competitive instinct is not awakened by Yatzy or Monopoly. I like to perform and get better at things", says Ingrid Due-Gundersen. She has 19 years' experience from traditional shipping and the family shipping company Höegh Autoliners. Now she leads pioneering work in offshore wind as CEO of Havfram."
