We’re excited to share highlights from our recent fMRI and Tractography training workshop, held on October 28–29 in San Diego. Attendees joined us for two days of in-depth sessions on fMRI and tractography theory and their practical applications, with a focus on advancing skills in presurgical mapping. The workshop included hands-on scanning using NordicNeuroLab hardware and software. The participants also learned how to process data using the new nordicMEDiVA BOLD and tractography modules. A big thank you to everyone who participated and to our speakers for sharing their knowledge. We’re excited to see this community growing in the coming years!

Over 2000 installations in more than 70 countries, collaborations with leading institutions world-wide and partnering with main MR vendors, we are a global company. Our head office is in Bergen, Norway. For the US market our main office is located in Milwaukee, WI and we have local presence with sales and application specialists in California, Arizona, Texas, Massachusetts and Florida. In Seoul, South Korea, we have a team that is handling our operations in South Korea, Japan and China. From state of the art post-processing and visualization software for BOLD fMRI, Diffusion/DTI, and Perfusion/DCE imaging to fMRI hardware for audio and visual stimulation, eye tracking, and patient response collection, NNL products are used around the world by researchers and clinicians alike. Ultimately, we are dedicated to take the most advanced neuro-imaging tools to market while making functional MRI programs easy to implement. We truly believe that fMRI will play an ever more important role in improving diagnostics and treatment outcome for patients with neuro related conditions. The brain is the human organ that we know the least about and fMRI will continue to help us gain a better understanding for how this unique organ works. *Vision* All patients benefit from complete imaging information for optimized treatment. *Company Mission* NordicNeuroLab will apply world-leading competence and experience to provide professional solutions for functional imaging, enabling improved patient care and clinical efficiency. *Quality Policy* We are committed to provide the highest possible quality on our products and services worldwide. This is achieved through customer focus, continuous improvement and maintaining an effective QMS that complies with regulatory requirements.

All I can say here is: WOW! 💥 Bac Nguyen thank you so much for your inspiring work and for spreading the word. It’s simply amazing and a priviledge to have such motivated radiographers like you around that give everything to take an MRI scan to the next level and provide a positive experience for their patients. And it is so wonderful to see what kind of impact our systems have in this process. We’re so much looking forward to further collaboration, new exciting projects and less anesthesia! 💙 NordicNeuroLab #nordicneurolab #patiententertainment #medical_imaging #non_sedation_mri #mri
MRI – Non-Sedation Pediatric Imaging: TV Entertainment In this video, I’ll be showcasing the equipment we use for non-sedation imaging in children. Each day, we typically have 3 to 4 sedated patients, and a similar number of non-sedated patients. Therefore, it's crucial to have the right tools to successfully scan children without sedation. Don’t miss this chance to expand your knowledge and refine your imaging skills! Remember to check out and support my PATREON here: https://lnkd.in/ddVvNpQy Thanks for watching, following and support. Many patients receive the first notification about their upcoming MRI exam through an information letter. This letter often serves as the initial touchpoint, and it can either trigger anxiety or foster confidence. The unfamiliarity of an MRI can be daunting. The lack of information can create gaps, which are often filled with “worst-case scenarios”. This fear of the unknown can heighten anxiety before the exam. However, the information letter can also be an opportunity to instill confidence in your patients. By enhancing this letter's content, you can mentally and emotionally prepare your patients for their exams. The most effective letters we've encountered include visual aids, such as images and links to videos, which help patients visualize the procedure and can help them feel more at ease. Some letters even offer practical advice on how patients and their children, if applicable, can prepare for the MRI experience. Although enhancing your information letter may require an initial investment of time, the benefits it yields, for both your clinic and your patients, can be significant and long-lasting. To learn more about how you and your clinic can reduce anxiety during MRI scans, visit our free online course here: https://lnkd.in/eshJdcvw

Last week, I attended the #iMRI2024 Symposium in Annapolis, Maryland, and it’s clear that #interventionalMRI is growing! A lot have happened since I first attended this meeting in Leipzig ten years ago - back then our #MR compatible display #InroomViewingDevice was presented at the Siemens Healthineers booth as they launched their dockable MR table. This year, 26 companies exhibited! #iMRI now covers a range of procedures for the #kidney, #liver, #prostate, #spine, #brain, #breast and more — not just for #biopsies but also #treatments. The use of MR guidance eliminates radiation exposure for both interventionalists and patients, while offering superior soft tissue imaging compared to CT. It's great to see that our MR compatible display is being used at prominent sites such as Mayo Clinic, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine , Brigham and Women's Hospital (Amigo Suite) , Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Universitätsklinikum Leipzig AöR and many more. For more than a decade we have supplied MR displays to ClearPoint Neuro, Inc. Together with companies such as Imricor & Cook Medical we at NordicNeuroLab are working together with clinicians and companies to add value in this field. Big thank you to the organizers for hosting a wonderful event! Clifford R. Weiss MD, FSIR, FCIRSE, Dara Kraitchman, David Woodrum, Jan Fritz , Nobuhiko Hata, Frank Wacker

We’re excited to announce the installation of our fMRI Essentials Package on the MAGNETOM Free.Max scanner at the Radiology Department of Kinderklinik, Uni-Klinikum Erlangen. Our Country Manager, Christian Adolf, was also on site to see the system in action. The NNL fMRI Essentials Package also includes the nordicComfortSolution, which can now be used with the Free.Max scanner for enhanced patient comfort. Conducting functional MRI with low-field scanners is still a relatively new approach, and we're proud to support this advancement with our fMRI solution. We look forward to seeing the insights this technology will bring!

🚀 Exciting new features in the #nordicComfortPlayer are here! 🎉 Radiographers can now enlarge and zoom in on the patient camera for a clearer view 👁️, and customize the display of scan time as text, illustrations, or both! 🕒 What we're most excited about? The ability to display text for patients who have difficulty hearing – plus you can even use emojis for kids! 🎈😀 And yes, you can now tailor breath-hold commands in any language to fit your needs. 🌍💬 #MRPatientCare #RadiographerTools #MRIInnovation #PatientComfort #MedicalTech #HealthcareInnovation

Earlier this month we were delighted to once again sponsor the British Society of Neuroradiologists (BSNR) Annual Meeting in Bristol, and to contribute to the lunchtime educational session on functional MRI. We have had many interesting discussions with radiologists from across the UK, and look forward to next year’s event!
