We’re excited to announce the inauguration of the Morro do Cruzeiro Wind Farm in Bahia, Brazil! With 14 new turbines, we’re generating clean energy to power 190,000 homes. 💡🏠 This construction project also created over 500 jobs and supported local communities through our Ventos da Gente social programme, which promotes education and entrepreneurship This expansion further demonstrates our commitment to the energy transition and social responsibility as one of the largest wind energy producers in Brazil. Now with over 2.2 GW of capacity across operations and construction. 🌬️🌿

Germany's largest hybrid park in planning is ready to start construction 👇 We have received the planning permission for our first combined solar park and battery storage project in Zerbst! We will start construction as soon as possible so that the plant can generate and store green electricity from the end of 2025. The project in Zerbst is not just a milestone for us: it is currently the largest hybrid plant in planning project in Germany! 🚀 These are the key figures: 🏠 The 47 MW solar park with a 16 MW battery storage system will produce enough green electricity to supply around 14,000 German households. 🌍 By combining the solar park with a battery storage system, we are bringing more flexibility and independence to the German energy system - and are also saving around 32,000 tonnes of CO2 every year. 🕖 Construction is due to start this summer and we plan to start operating the park at the end of 2025.

We are proud to have received the Seal of Excellence in Sustainability from UNEF Spanish Solar Association for the solar plants we operate in Cádiz! 🎉 🥇 We share this honour with The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG) , the owner of these facilities. Each plant, with nearly 50 MW of capacity, not only contributes to a sustainable energy transition, but also promotes the circular economy and the preservation of biodiversity. Today we're celebrating a big birthday! 🎂 🎈 Our Rheidol hydropwer plant in Wales is 60 years old! 💧 💙 To mark this anniversary, we wanted to speak to some of the people who made Rheidol, and got to meet a group of former employees, who told us some stories from their time at the power plant. 👉 “It is fitting that we mark this significant anniversary alongside some of the people who made the building of Rheidol possible, and I’m pleased that we have been able to celebrate their contributions," says Dennis Geyermann, our VP of Operations and Maintenance.
