🏢 Oxan Energy had the pleasure of welcoming Lucie Mallet for her end-of-study #internship in our office in Paris. We asked her a couple of questions to help understand her reasons for choosing to work at Oxan Energy and her assignments during the last 6 months as Assistant Project Manager. ❓ Why did you decide to do your end-of-study placement with Oxan Energy❓ OXAN ENERGY is a dynamic company specializing in the field of #renewable energies, a sector that I am passionate about and that is experiencing significant growth. I am currently completing my studies at ESILV, an #engineering school in La Défense/Paris, with a specialization in "Energy and Sustainable Cities”. This internship allowed me to put into practice the knowledge I gained during my studies in renewable energies. Last year, I completed a four-month internship in the field of onshore wind energy. I was particularly enthusiastic about working in renewables! This year, I wanted to discover the #offshore wind sector. I was offered to work with both the development and the technical teams, which was very interesting and complementary. I am very happy to have joined them for these six months, which were rich in new experiences and learning. ❓ To this last point, what were your assignments at Oxan Energy and what exactly have you learnt from them❓ During my internship as an Assistant Project Manager in offshore wind energy, I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop multiple skills. My role allowed me to delve into the offshore wind energy sector by conducting in-depth market #analysis in France and different markets in Europe, as well as assessing opportunities for upcoming tenders. One of my major projects involved an in-depth #study of the varying densities of offshore wind farms worldwide and the factors influencing these differences. This research not only broadened my understanding of global offshore wind energy strategies but also sharpen my analytical skills. Additionally, as part of a teamwork, we developed a site assessment tool to identify the best locations for future projects. 📷 A highlight of my internship was the #visit of Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm! This technical visit was extremely informative, allowing me to closely observe the operation of an offshore wind farm and understand the logistical and technical challenges associated with its operation and maintenance. This hands-on experience complemented my theoretical knowledge and provided me with a concrete perspective on the daily operations of an offshore wind farm. This experience at OXAN ENERGY enhanced my project management skills and improved my knowledge in offshore wind energy. Thank you to the entire OXAN ENERGY team for this valuable experience and the support and trust! #intern #education #learnings WORKINBLUE BY BLUESIGN
