Mainfreight Australia is powering up their driver safety efforts with the installation of nearly 600 MiTAC units in their rigid, local fleet vehicles. As Mainfreight National Support Manager, Ashley Taylor says “It will be a fantastic solution for our drivers. Our local fleet is growing significantly and this means we get complaints from the public from time to time. But there are three sides to every road incident: the driver’s perception, the public perception, and what actually happened.” Read the full article below.
About us
AutoSense is on a mission to demystify driver training through the clever use of technology that makes it easy to implement and manage driver awareness programmes. We aim to do this at minimal cost with the least amount of business interruption possible. We identify where the risk is so resources can be focused on training those that need it rather than having to deliver training to everyone, interrupting your business and costing you valuable resources. We offer heavy and light vehicle competency programmes, along with ways to prevent driver fatigue and distraction. We are the NZ distributor of Seeing Machines Guardian technology.

Nice work NZI 🙌
Truckies on the Napier to Taupō road last week were keen to take a break at the NZI Truckie Rest Zone and warm up with hot coffee and BBQ. The NZI Fleet Risk team were serving up the snacks and talking to drivers about managing fatigue and staying safe on the road. As always, the Hato Hone St John team were in support, providing free health checks. The event was held in conjunction with Taupō District Council, and it was great to have Mayor David Trewavas pop in to lend a hand. NZI Truckie Rest Zones are supported by the NZ Police Commercial Vehicle Safety Team and the NZ Transport Agency. Big thanks to Narva NZ for providing their impressive BBQ. #NZIFleetFIt #ItsLikeInsuranceThatWorksBeforeACrash
