Congratulations to our latest group of SAFED graduates! We are thrilled to recognise another group of drivers who have successfully completed our Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving (SAFED) program. Thank you to our Senior Trainer, Brian Parker for his dedication to training our team in the essential skills to become masterful drivers who champion sustainability. The SAFED program goes beyond our Safety First Every Day basics. Our drivers learn: 🔸 Advanced defensive driving techniques. 🔸 Fuel-saving strategies that minimise emissions and maximise mileage. 🔸 Essential guidance around improving fuel efficiency. 🔸 Along with ensuring that they are up to date and compliant with regulations. This drivers group now joins our other graduates who have gained the knowledge and skills to not only stay safe on the road, but also become aligned with our company's commitment to the future of sustainable Transport. #CodaGroup #SAFEDriving #FuelEfficiency #DriverTraining #SustainableTransportation

With Men's Health Week kicking off today, we would like to share a recent post from TransportTalk.co.nz. This is a podcast episode that no one should miss. Breathing, walking slowly and savouring your morning coffee may not sound like a revolutionary medical treatment, but if you’re a truck driver struggling with your mental health, it may just be the lifeline you need. In an AutoSense NZ podcast hosted by Greg Murphy, former All-Black and mental health advocate Sir John Kirwan says transforming ordinary tasks like these into daily rituals can help safeguard mental well-being. “The norm is that your brain is always rushing – you don’t have breaks, you’re looking at your phone, dispatch is telling you there are more deliveries. "Breathe, take microbreaks and walk slowly. Leave your phone in the cab when you stop for a coffee because your brain needs a break; eat your sandwich slowly, and drink your coffee in a real cup if possible, not a takeaway cup," he says https://lnkd.in/e3ngiePa Also available to listen on the podcast platforms below: 🚀 Spotify https://lnkd.in/gdyZEB7U 🚀 Apple https://lnkd.in/gxhf_Aaj 🚀 iHeart https://lnkd.in/gDpjVMmM #CodaGroup #MensHealthWeek #TransportNZ

Our Team's artistic talents have been on display recently with our Coda Colours competition, launched in conjunction with World Health and Safety Day. The competition was fierce - with well over 40 masterpieces produced across four categories from all sites. The sheer creativity of these pieces has been truly inspiring. Decorating our lunchrooms these fantastic pieces have been a great focal point and today we share our winners and a couple of eye-catching runner-ups. #CodaGroup #CodaColours

⚪ Safety through Collaboration | NZ Road Safety Week ⚪ Recently our Auckland Transport Drivers had a unique opportunity to connect with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Team (CVST) . This "meet-and-greet," provided a neutral space for our Drivers to ask questions and build rapport with the Police. ♦ Permits, Logbooks, and Peace of Mind ♦ The CVST session delved into the nitty-gritty of permits for heavy loads and logbook regulations, reinforcing our safety commitment. Through open discussions, our Drivers gained a clearer understanding of these crucial aspects of safe and compliant driving. By working hand-in-hand with Law Enforcement and prioritising Driver Education, we are building a safer, more positive environment for everyone on the road. #CodaGroup #RoadSafetyWeek
