📖 Back to School 🧑🎓 Everest's Francisco Lardies and Evan Gwilliam had the opportunity today to discuss Surveying with the Year 13 Trades Academy at One Tree Hill College. Frankie and Evan spoke about land surveying, its many misconceptions, and how they can get into it after finishing school. The team then went out to the fields to see surveying in action using a Drone and Total Station. Thank you One Tree Hill College for allowing us to present. We look forward to seeing the next generation of surveying. 📞 If you know of a school leaver who is interested in surveying, please contact us; we would be happy to tell them more.

🌏 Accurate surveys are the backbone of successful construction, engineering, and development projects. 📐 Client design teams require Topographical and Site Surveys to base their work on, but what are they, how do they differ, and why are they necessary? Everest has launched a blog, with our first post discussing Topographical and Site Surveys, their key differences and when they should be used. If you require Surveying support for your future project, please don't hesitate to contact us. ✆ 09 524 2723📧 info@everest.co.nz https://lnkd.in/eamxh9v4

Great to get this new kit from Global Survey New Zealand. These days we don't even have to hold the pole straight to get precise measurements thanks to the Leica AP20 Autopole! Looking forward to seeing the efficiencies of this new equipment for the Everest team! Great work Wei Jing Mark Green
Everest Consultants have been rapidly expanding with additional Survey kits including the Leica TS16 Robotic Total Station with AP20 TiltPole, GS18T GNSS antennas and CS20 controller, all running Captivate v9 field software. 🚀 🚀 The unique Leica AP20 TiltPole speeds up data acquisition and reduces errors in field work. A key feature is the IMU that calculates pole tilt for real-time updates using accelerometers and gyros, so that the reflector pole no longer needs to be held vertical when measuring or staking out points. This comes with the added bonus of automatic pole height readings that populate the Captivate software and a signal ID module to ensure that only your 360 prism is measured to. 👏 #nzleicastories #everestconsultants #whenithastoberight #leicageosystems Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon

⏰ Everest is back to work 🌏 We are excited to be back in the office and get started on 2025. One of Everest's staff members though, Oment L., is so passionate about surveying that he has taken an extra week off to visit Surveying Trig Stations abroad – here he is at the Mt Wellington Trig in Tasmania!

🏝️ Island Life 🏝️ Francisco Lardies and Franco Dalle Nogare from Everest's Survey Team spent Thursday on Waiheke Island completing a Topographical Survey via a Drone. The result is pretty amazing. They also setout a few gridlines using more..... traditional surveying equipment. Not a bad day out.
