Today we announced a 50 cent increase in the forecast Farmgate Milk Price midpoint for the 2024/25 season, alongside an uplift to the FY25 Advance Rate Schedule, and advised our FY24 earnings are forecast to be at the top end of the announced range of 60-70 cents per share.     “Since announcing our opening FY25 season forecast Farmgate Milk Price in May, GDT prices have improved. We were delighted to host some of Japan’s future rugby stars who recently visited New Zealand as part of the Game on English programme 🏉 Over two weeks, the ten Japanese high school students learnt English, played rugby with local teams, and battled it out in a whipping cream challenge to make the best cream rosette at our Waitoa UHT manufacturing plant. “Game on English was developed to promote international exchange and co-operation through sport. Over the last ten years, many of the programme’s alumni have gone on to great success in their rugby career and some are now playing in Japan Rugby League One, Japan’s premier rugby competition.” - Bryn Rowdon, General Manager of Corporate Planning at Fonterra Japan. We've teamed up with Superbrewed Food Inc., a natural ingredient manufacturer, to develop functional biomass protein from the Co-op’s lactose 🥛 The aim is to create more value from milk by converting lactose into high-quality, sustainable protein using Superbrewed's technology. “Dairy will always be at the core of Fonterra’s business, now and in the future. Great to have 80 participants join us for yesterday's workshop with Nature Positive, generously hosted by Fonterra, covering the Science-Based Targets for Nature (SBT4N) framework and guidance🌿 Part 1️⃣ of the session was an introduction to the rationale, process, and capacity requirements for setting Science Based Targets for Nature and how those targets relate to other sustainability and reporting frameworks Part 2️⃣ was a technical deep dive. Using a case study, participants worked in groups to complete exercises around the consideration of stakeholder engagement, baseline measurement, metric and target boundary-setting, incorporating mātauranga Māori and more.   Huge thank you to Robin Mitchell and Elliot Blyth for running such an engaging, insightful workshop, and thank you again to Ella Tunnicliffe-Glass and Fonterra for hosting. #SBTN #naturebasedsolutions #naturetargets #sciencebasedtargets

Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us at The Diversity Agenda as we officially launch our partnership with Fonterra! 🎉 This collaboration brings together our shared commitment to innovation, diversity, and excellence in engineering. With a combined passion for fostering inclusive workplaces, we are set to achieve remarkable milestones together.

Our Cikarang site team in Indonesia planted 1,000 trees in collaboration with Trees4Trees, a non-profit organization focused on reforestation 🌱 A diverse mix of trees, including sengon, jabon, trembesi, gmelina, suren, teak, petai, and jackfruit, were planted in GIIC and Sirnabaya Village.   The initiative involved around 33 enthusiastic Fonterra Indonesia employees as volunteer tree planters, and local farmers.   "Through this tree-planting event, we aim to raise awareness and education on the importance of tree planting and environmentally friendly practices." - M.
