About us

The University of Auckland Investment Club is a student run investment society founded in 2009. It is now one of the largest clubs at the university with over 400 members and the largest investment related club in New Zealand. Students at all levels of understanding are invited to build their investment knowledge through student led tutorials, guest speaking events, and competitions, in a supportive environment. Our Aim is to improve the practical financial education of our members, while developing networks with other like-minded students and those within the finance industry.

  • Kia ora, We invite those interested in learning more about a career in investment banking to apply for the UBS 2024 women’s mentoring programme. The mentoring programme will provide further insight into investment banking through four sessions: - Session 1 (early November – post exams): deeper dive into IB / working at UBS - Session 2 (late November): finance fundamentals - Session 3 (December): learn more about the day to day of analysts and how to hit the ground running - Session 4 (January): tips & tricks to nail your application for a role in IB See the graphic below or go to our website for more information! Whether you’re new to Excel or an avid modeller, this is the opportunity for you to learn the fundamentals of Excel in a financial context!
