About us

The Warehouse Group (TWG) is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and evolved from a single The Warehouse store to become one of the largest retailing groups in New Zealand with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of three core retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. We have over 180 retail stores, online stores as well as distribution centres throughout New Zealand. We also have two overseas sourcing offices located in China and India. We are a people-centred business with more than 10,000 team employees across our locations. TWG is known for being Here for Good - it’s who we are and what keeps us focused to succeed. It represents our commitment to better living for all New Zealanders, through sustainable retail products and practices and the mission of contributing to the long-lasting health of our planet. Over the years, we’ve raised over 50 million dollars for New Zealand communities and have contributed to countless community-focussed initiatives. We were the first company in New Zealand to add a Shielded Site link to the Women's Refuge website to help protect those experiencing family violence, and were a key supporter of the Government’s Family Violence Victims’ Protection Bill. We were New Zealand’s first large company and the third major retailer in the world to go carbon neutral. While we are 40+ years old as a business, in many ways we feel we’re just getting started.

  • ❤️ With Valentine’s Day around the corner, our teams are busy ensuring Kiwis can find the perfect gifts, treats, and heartfelt surprises for their loved ones (or themselves!). Behind the scenes, planning is a huge part of making that happen—and we’ve been lucky to have Conor join our Planning team as an intern through Auckland University of Technology. TWG has been more than just an internship for Conor, packed with lots of learning, new experiences, and mentorship from a team that has supported his growth every step of the way.  He has played a part in ensuring our stores are stocked and ready for key moments like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Easter. If you’re still searching for a sweet Valentine’s Day gift, our stores have you covered! • Back to School is a major trading event for The Warehouse Group. As it wraps up, we went behind the scenes and chatted to the incredible Buying Team who work tirelessly to ensure families can find everything they need – from notebooks and backpacks to technology – at the best price. Meet Sarah, our Lead Buyer for Office & Technology for Warehouse Stationery, one of the talented people behind the products that fill our shelves. Sarah is passionate about curating the best range of products, understanding what our customers need, and making it all accessible for Kiwi families. • We know it’s that time of the year when we need to alleviate our holiday blues!    Our team members value their downtime and sometimes need more than 4 weeks of annual leave to achieve it. This is where our Lifestyle leave benefit can be the solution – team members can apply for an additional 5 or 10 days on top of their annual leave and pay it off over the next 12 months. This provides an opportunity to focus on things that are important to them outside of work - whether spending more time with loved ones, on hobbies, passion projects, taking adventures or simply reset! (or in Rose’s case all of the above) To check out benefits available to our team members and more about life at TWG check out our careers site! https://lnkd.in/gJUxmehx #twg #twgcareers

In 2025 I’m aiming for more R&R! The years are passing by so quickly and it’s up to me to ensure that I have no regrets. I do love my role which is why it’s so easy to keep working, however when your employer appreciates that team members are its greatest asset and encourages work-life balance why wouldn’t you take it? The Warehouse Group offers the benefit of Lifestyle Leave where you can apply for an additional 5 or 10 days on top of your annual leave and pay it off over the next 12 months. So this year I’m grabbing some of that lifestyle leave to spend more time with family and friends, go on more adventures and fill my bucket! Woohoo! Check out Twgcareers.co.nz. #Lifestyle #twg #retailcareers
