Wednesday was a significant day for Whāraurau as we hosted our very first He Amorangi: Māori Sector Leaders Day alongside Te Rau Ora in Rotorua. The theme, He mana tangata kia tipu | Growing a sustainable workforce, set the stage for presentations on sector developments and engaging discussions around workforce innovations and solutions. A standout moment at the Te Ao Māramatanga: NZ College of Mental Health Nurses conference this week was hearing from young Pasifika nurses who participated in the Nightingale Challenge, an international initiative promoting leadership and practice development for nurses within five years of completing their degrees. Truly inspirational!

Highlighting last week's youth leadership symposium in Wellington, where we witnessed the incredible drive and passion of young leaders making a difference in their communities.

Last Thursday we hosted the Youth leadership symposium | Mana rangatahi hui taumata with Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira Incorporated, Te Hiringa Mahara - Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission and Mana Mokopuna - Children and Young People's Commission. Thank you all for coming together to inspire the next generation of leaders.
