We absolutely love these words Amanda Jenkins! And with all the tags and mentions, it goes to show what a huge amount of people, talent and organisations it takes to produce quality productions like these. Collaboration creates incredible things! Shout out to Petrina D'Rozario and Helen Castelow at the ChristchurchNZ screen office and the permitting team at Christchurch City Council Tanya C. and Rogielou Patapat for their mahi helping make these happen.
It's been a busy last three years, and a huge ride of achievement as a line producer to finally celebrate these latest three incredible NZ feature films filmed in Canterbury that all hit the cinemas nationwide this August! WE WERE DANGEROUS, HEAD SOUTH, and BOOKWORM - A triple triumph for New Zealand Cinema showcasing extraordinary Canterbury locations and stories for the world to see. I also want to acknowledge the incredible regional Screen Canterbury NZ production grant that helped these films get made and bring these stories to Canterbury. Please head to the cinemas and watch these spectacular films on the big screen. You won't be disappointed. *WE WERE DANGEROUS released in cinemas nationwide on 22nd August!
