Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic workshop over in the RMIT Green Brain space with industry leaders, focusing on collaboration and innovation within the cyber security sector. Our discussions centred around enhancing research and teaching activities with industry to achieve mutual beneficial outputs and advancements. Biometix had the great opportunity recently to attend the 2024 ID Match Forum in Sydney and in turn appreciate the valuable insights offered from the public sector. We were pleased to see moves towards greater regulation and compliance in Australia through programs such as the National Strategy for Identity Resilience and the Credential Protection Register, that will help make Australians as well as their online and off-line identities more secure. For example, the Credential Protection Register will allow Australians to manage access to their identity documents and receive notifications on verification attempts from their own devices. Biometix adds face analysis based on draft standard to biometric assessment toolbox #biometrics #standards

We're happy to announce that Biometix is launching our new face analysis engine on BQAT, built upon the OFIQ algorithm 🚀 OFIQ (https://lnkd.in/gZfDmARt), the reference implementation for ISO/IEC 29794-5, is designed for assessing quality aspects of facial images. While the OFIQ framework is in its early stages, it marks a new step towards the standardisation of face image quality assessments.
